I ordered my first VPX cartomator mini with a 2.0 dual coil cartomizer. I'm new to tanks and have two other kinds right now. I usually use boge because they have always treated me well, but I thought I'd try this dual coil just to see what it is. Well, first the carto is real loose in the tank, very "slidy" and I'm finding I have to be real careful because the tank slides all over the place. (I'm comparing it to 2 other tanks I have now) Second, the draw is so tight I can't get it to work with any ego type batts and it barely works on my buzz. I'm having to pull so hard it caves my cheeks in. Is this a common issue with this type of carto? I probably should have stuck with my trusted boges.

I remember when the dual-coils first came out and people were getting a very "tight" one frequently where we were sticking paperclips and dental picks through the center to loosen them. But then it seemed like Smoktek solved the problem. This is the first one since then, that I've heard of that again.
The cap issue is more confusing since all of our caps are run on the same computerized numerical control (CNC) program every time. So every cap we make is a carbon copy of every other. Our caps are generally regarded as being one of the better fitting caps. It's always a tradeoff, if the cap is too tight, it makes filling really hard...too loose and the tank slides excessively or even leaks. Carto-tanks do slide and spin, especially if juice gets on the inner o-rings. That is why a drip-tip and the carto connector provide the "stops" and sandwich the tank onto the carto. We do have a tighter o-ring that basically stops movement and makes a snug fit. But the tradeoff is the carto ends are harder to slide through the o-rings. Drop me a pm and I'll fix ya up:)

Ok, the colors to be offered this week. All will be available in Reg and XL. Reg size tanks will only carry either Boge 2.0 or 3.0. XL will only be 1.5 Triple Coil and possibly a slotted CE2 3.2. Front center is Fuschia Pink, From the left, Purple Reign, Kelly Green, Charcoal Grey, Cherry Red and Blue Sapphire.
Orange and Gold will be available in the next SS batch as well as the option of a Brushed finish. This group only comes as a Polished Finish.

I had really hoped to have the SS Tanks at Nhaler tomorrow as everyone knows. They are all built, boxed and now shipped, but things never go quite as planned and unfortunately it looks like they'll arrive at Nhaler at the start of the week. Ugggh...big bummer! So everyone hold that thought. I promise it will be so worth it!
