I have a tank on my Darwin, and my green one on my granny smith glv. The ss tank just looked the best on the provari. ProVari is a great mod, but darwin is still my main pv

So how does the ProVari Vape? I read their are restriction in the amout of Volt/Amps that it will give. Thinking Krisb if I can get a ProVari on the classifieds for cheap I may go for it. Just not willing to pay full price.
The triples are okay, but nothing spectacular. A little better throat hit than the dual coils, but I like the duals better for everything else. They're great at higher voltages, but both the Darwin and Provari won't go high enough since the carto resistance is 1.5 ohms. I ran one at 6 volts (on a mechanical mod) just to try it and it was a MONSTROUS hit! Too much for me (and probably not great for the batts, either). I bet they're excellent on a 5v mod, though

i started with a blu, it sucked, went back to analogs, then went through a couple 20 dollar ones from 7 11 and stuff, reduced my amounts, then got ego t and some mega attys for dripping, stopped analogs for the most part, then did about 4 months of researchdefinatly wanted a VV of some sort, i hung out on the darwin forum for a while ad everyone was so helpful, so thats what i went with, not the provari people arnt helpful, just seemed like a good fit here, i cant pu tthis thing down, this will be my 1st tank mod too, so just seeme dright to get it from nhaler! now looking into a backup, i can take a little time, and if im not so happy with something i can easily sell it in classsys and try soemthing else!
Provari is limited to 2.5 amps, so the most voltage you can put through a 1.5 ohm carto is about 4.1, the Darwin on the other hand is limited to 3 amps, so you can get a little bit more voltage on a 1.5 ohm carto. The Provari is a very nice device and I've been using mine a lot in the short time I've had it, but it won't be replacing my Darwin as they each have their strong points
Thanks Kill for the quick reply. OK seems like I need to try one of these (Phildias/Chuck/Prodigy V3/XHaler/GLV) to get the best effects from it. Which one? Well I guess I will figure it out when it comes. Thanks.
So ime these are some of my PV, but I haven't felt the need to buy another since the Darwin. Lots of new mods coming out that are tempting but I have so many now it seems like anything new would not get used a lot. I am waiting to see if Evolv will come out with something new, I would probably jump on that.

They do work fine on the Darwin BTW, I crank mine all the way up to 12.7 watts when I use it there and it is a satisfying hit. I just prefer the dual coils to the trips ;-)
yea i want to get something for looks, the sweetvapes grip is made of wood, bottom feeder and they make a vv model, but over all it looks awesome, if evolve comes out with something before that, maybe the darwin will be my backup and the new thign will be my main, lol definatly open to anything evolv comes out with!

.......and by the way, i recieved all 3 of my new SS's today in the mail....i have all in 2.5ml, a grey charcoal, cherry red and sapphire blue....all look awesome! the red one is already filled and sitting on my provari...the grey is lubed and waiting for my new mod to show...and the blue unfortunately, is leaking all over the place...i've swapped endcaps with the few cartomators I own (2 with the nylon endcaps) and all of them fit extremely loose in the blue tube....I sent out an email to you Tom, and Drew to see what can be done. I'd rather not have to send it back for replacement or whatever if I don't have to....hopefully it'll be as simple as trying larger diameter o-rings or something, since i suspect it to be the tube and not the endcap/o-ring assemblies...

OK, just like promised...here's a picture for ya all... my Roughstack V2 with my original cherry red cartomator, my E-power 18650 and the new charcoal grey SS (meant for my GLV-2 ordered), and my Provari topped off with the cherry red SS...all 3 in 2.5ml and boge 2 ohm carto's.....the sapphire blue version will get posted on the E-power once I have the problem resolved
