Well I wanted to make an adapter but didn't have the part's but I had a spare atty connector as I had bought brass cap's with the GGT, so took the spare ally one apart and put four notches in the top, one across the center pin and two grooves down the thread in it for air flow.... job done.

It took me five minutes to do and work's really well and the 901's/801's still work the same.

somewhere out there......
im thinking of making one from scratch once I get my GGT....I have an old dead Vk battery that went flying off a 4 story parking garage, which got broken needless to say. So Ill take that and pop off the bolt and pop off a cartimzer screw and then use pin and the cartomizer shell to make the adapter. Should take much time at all I hope.

Your method is certainly a really nice way of going about it.
It was Crash that got me onto the cartomizers:D

Thanks lisa, I only tried it because I had a spare end cap and no other bit's to make your adapter. I wouldn't have been brave enough otherwise:D

Do you refill yours?.... if so, how long have they been lasting you.

Yes, I have refilled them but haven't had them long enough to refill more than 2 or 3 times mostly. They still seem fine so far but I tend to be a "mouthpiece biter" so I will probably chuck them after few more fills.
I did take one apart after 3-4 fills and the middle material bit was pretty browned so maybe it was near its refill limit?

Well... having tried 6v with the 901 and 801 and finding it a bit hit and miss, I tried it with the cartomizer and was pleasantly surprised.

No burnt taste at all... ever, well so far (3 days) and I've tried several liquids without cutting them.

Don't know how long it'll hold up but i'll be very happy if I can get a week out of one.

If you've tried it yourself and have any info to add please do!

I did try the cartomisers with 6v and I wasn't keen on the extra heat in the vapour - maybe just me though? The flavour was still there so that was good. Didn't continue long enough though to see if there were any burning issues.

Couldn't you use the 901 extension adapters?
Not tried it but it may work with a drilled hole in it.

Hello Lisa,

I keep it well topped up and hit it for 2-3 seconds with a break between hit's to keep it cool and the hit I get means I use it less anyway. If I want to chain vape then I can use 3.7v but prefer the 901 atty for that.:)

Thanks Lisa and Obie....Just as a person with no skills to make these things I thought it might be an answer....:)

It really wasn't that difficult to do... I'm sure you could do it moog:)

If it makes you feel any better, I still haven't been able to copy and paste on the mac yet:confused: even with your help lol
