I agree, when it is no longer white, time to pitch. E liquid does discolor the filler, but does not indicate burnt material. You will know when it is burnt.
Just like the other styles, it takes getting used to and messing with. I love my kr808 for the convenience. Still pick up my 510 once in awhile for a bit different vape.

'42109' I agree. That's the main reason I wanted to try the 808, for larger cart size.

I know, I have tried everything for larger cart size. 901, 801, 510. I finally modded my 801 down to a 4081 cart because I got tired of the old juice sitting in there that wouldn't wick. Works good. easy to top off.
The 4081 and 401 are the only ones I have found that really wick a cart dry. I still haven't decided on the 808... The only one I have taken apart was burnt, still undecided...

I like them both too, but for on the go the 808 is winning me over each time I take it out. The battery life is impressive for a stock batt, although I went ahead and ordered a PCC just to be safe.

By the way, I've been using cartos I washed and refilled. Also bought and used some blanks. The taste is great now. I'm leary about letting them get too low so I keep them topped off. I will probably wash them again after a few top offs. Still not sure if I know when they are getting too low but understand the taste and vapor production will change. Think I'm slowly getting the hang of these...
