I
don't think Vapor4Life (i.e.,
Kr8) cartomizers will work with
SmokeTip batteries (which I
think are the V9 model). SmokeTip's assembled e-cig (battery + cartomizer) is 100 mm. The typical Kr8 is approximately 20 mm longer than that. Very recently, Vapor4Life (the only Kr8 supplier to do so) has begun carrying
shorter batteries (of unspecified length), which probably would result in an e-cig that size. But that is hardly the
standard length for a Kr8.
Whereas that shorter battery
is fairly standard for a
V9 e-cig. The V9 model is sold under the names of Green Smoke (not to be confused with GreenCig), Red Dragon, Loong Totem, Vapure, Smoke 51 DUO, NHaler E9, and LeCig D
2. A V9 battery will work with cartomizers of all those brands. A Kr8 battery will work with cartomizers from Vapor4Life and all the other suppliers of the Kr8, such as those listed in
this post. Both those two models are not cross-compatible.
LeCig may be able to help you pin this down. They also sell the Kr8 (their D
1) and have created this brief video to clarify the difference between
batteries:
Compare your SmokeTip
batteries with those shown in the video. If they match LeCig's D2, you've got a V9; if they match the D1, you have a Kr8. You also could c
ontact SmokeTip and/or the two suppliers I know who carry both the V9 and Kr8: NHaler and LeCig. I (and many others in ECF) have ordered from each of those two suppliers and they are quite reputable. [NOTE: Each of them also carries GreenCig cartomizers (about 1/4" longer than Kr8 or V9 carts). They will work with Kr8 automatic batteries, but not with V9 (or with Kr8 manual batteries without an adapter).]
Yes, the world of cartomizers (and of all vaping products) can be confusing.
But that's what ECF is here for.
Happy New Year, stinkboto!
