I am extremely new to all of this and may be getting way ahead of myself... I scanned this pdf and came across the stability and reactivity section. I wanted to discuss the possibility of oxidization within the aluminum components (cartos).

Incompatibility (materials to avoid): Strong oxidizing agents.

I understand that any aluminum container used to store liquids can oxidize, what about an aluminum container in close contact with a liquid and a electrical component like our cartomizers? Wouldn't that hypothetically speed up the oxidizing process?

I'm curious if others have thought of the long term effects of using aluminum cartomizers or if there is any long term danger at all.

There are no long term studies regarding that and won't be for a while. A person has to make a determination themselves about the possible downside of ecigaretts vs. the known downside of smoking. We're all in the process of learning and ecigs are safer in some respects now, than they were 3 years ago from what we've learned along the way.
