OK I have a quick question. Does anyone know where I can find a list of all available 510 cartomizers?

Right now I have THREE diferent sizes of cartomizers and I want to know more about them.
The biggest is 4 and 1/2mm (not including battery end threading)
The medium is 3 and 1/2mm (not including battery end threading)
The smallest is around 3mm (not including battery end threading)
What are these? Can anyone help me figure this out?

Also, I recently got an atomizer that is actually enclosed.
The end cap comes off and there is a hole.
I was thinking about sawing off the end so that I can direct drip, but has anyone else done this? Can anyone tell me what type of cartomizers and what type of atomizer this is?

I tried dripping in some juice from the battery end of the atomizer but it still tastes like I'm burning it. :( Can someone please help me? Any info is appreciated.

Can't say much about the cartomizers. There are tons available. Know any info about manufacturers you can provide? Where you got them? Links?

You may have a 306 atomizer which fits the 510 thread. With it attached to the battery, can you twist the casing clockwise and pull it off the atomizer? Doing this will leave the cone mesh exposed. If so, you can cut the end off the tube and drip. Or buy a 306 drip tip.

Cartos come in all shapes and sizes. Tons of manufacturers make a 510 thread so that may be why folks were reluctant to answer.

As for my cartos, they are all real stainless steel, not the fake stainless steel look-alike style. they all have a tube in the middle. I got my kits from a mall kiosk, nuvocig, and the batteries that came with the cartos are also stainless steel, 510 threading. The battery connection ends all have a gap between the battery threading case, and an inner ring. they also have 2 little raised connector bumps inside of that ring. The caps at the mouth end are white. Thats about all I can think of as far as possibly distinctive features. I got them from Nuvocig (the mall kiosk) There are pictures on the website.

well just before I checked this thread I ended up cutting the plastic part, so now I can direct drip. But, I did accidentally cut all the way down to where the metal starts, so, its an extremely short atty now :p But its a POWER HITTER whatever it is. I've NEVER gotten so much vapor from any of my cartos. WOW!! :) Great TH with even my low nic juices. I almost want to go back and buy up 10 five packs of these because my mall kiosk is in transition to cartos and they wont be carrying the 306 attys anymore :/ But thank you, now I'm pretty certain it is a 306. It tasted like burnt plastic at first, but once I kept puffing and blowing out, and adding more juice, it tastes like the juice now. And boyyyy I've never tasted my juices like I can taste them now, this is great! :)

ANY information is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!! I'd love to know what resistance these are, brand, etc. etc.
Thank you Charlz

Standard resistance on slim style PVs are 3.0ohms. If you find they are a little cool for you, you can purchase a 2.5ohm resistance. Boge 510 is a good brand and typically cost 8-10 bucks for a 5 pack online. 2.0ohms is toeing the line for slim e-cigs. Definitely stay away from dual coil or anything under 2.0ohms or you will be replacing that battery.
Not a bad first PV for you, but you'll have a hard time saving money at expensive mall kiosks. They are good to know they are there in an emergency but once you make the switch to vaping, you'll save typically double online.

The first fill on a cartomizer is critical. You have to thoroughly saturate the filler. I use the method in the video below. After that, you can pop off the tip periodically if the filler is white and add a couple of drops of juice. Do it while holding the carto at and angle to keep juice into the air tube.

3.0 is standard resistance on a slim 510 battery. You might be able to get away with 2.5 ohms. On and eGo or Riva, you can go to 2.0 ohms and even to the 1.6 ohm dual coils.

For dripping, I like the 306 atty. Some come with a drip tip and others come with a round tube with a hole in it. These come with the drip tip. They also come in 1.8 ohm up to 4 ohm.
