Long story short. First tank was a Smoketek DCT tank. Loved it at first because of the simplicity to fill, but ended up retiring it a week after its use because of 2 juice spills due to the tank seperating.

Second and current tank is a JTank. Love it because I don't have to worry about the tank seperating on me, and that I can screw the tank on while holding the tank without excessive spinning. But I hate it because its way too hard to slide the carto up and down when filling. I've also (girlfriend as well) developed a leaking issue, despite lubing the orings whenever I swap cartos, filling, etc.

I need to find the right tank for me. I need the perfect mix between these two tanks. I would like the cartomizer to be somewhat easy to move when it comes to filling, but not slippy that I have to worry about it slidding completely off the cartomizer and into my pocket. I also don't want to worry about the tank caps slipping off, seperating the tank in my pocket (even though I may be quite used to it by now). I wish I could get myself to like the M1A1, but that screw just kills the aesthetics in my eyes, and I know I will not be able to bring myself to like it.

Did you have any taste issues with your DCT tank? I just got one for the first time, and ALL i am tasting is plastic.

Thanks for the responses guys. Im looking for alternatives to the m1a1 though. As for the lavatank, I tried my luck with the last sale but no dice.

Never had taste issues with the dct, but I did have bad flooding issues. And I can buy boges for less than half as much as dc cartos. Try swapping your cartos and see if that helps.

I own a M1A1 & have grown to really like the screw hole because they are so easy to fill & refill. I also have a SS Dct Map tank I got from clouds of vapor that is rock solid & sits really really tight on the carto. Once it's on it's not going anywhere. I feel fine carrying mine in my pocket & haven't had any problems. You can also get them at mostangryindustries but he's out of stock.

DCT MAP Tank in Polished Stainless Steel 2.5 ohm

DUAL COIL TANK (DCT) STAINLESS STEEL | Most Angry Industries

I'm not sure about the one at mostangry but the one from cov comes with a nice stainless drip tip & a carto.

Not looking for a dct, although those look very very nice.

Thanks for your suggestions though! I really appreciate it =]
