Cartomizer Tear Down (CTD) - READ and COMMENT. TY!

Well, I gave up after a couple of minutes. I think it would take a long, long time to loosen up the threaded end of one of these Boge 510 cartos. It's very tight, and I decided not to spend all that time. I'll just use my flushing method (described in one of my blogs) if and when they need to be cleaned before I decide to quit using them after a few weeks. Now I can watch movies all weekend.

Thanks for your videos, Shan! Don't feel bad that 99.99% of the people who watch them don't leave comments. That's just the way people are, but you're helping lots of people, giving them ideas, etc., and you're having fun making the videos, so that's all that matters.

LOL deb! You give me the giggles hun! I have this approach at things "I can do anything" so the comment you made about "be careful when...oh wait I can do it" is my approach @ almost all things. Thus explaining why I do some terribly STUPID stuff. But hey! it's all a learning experience.

I once licked a cold light pole in the dead of winter to see what really happens... will I do it again? Probably. Someone get the hot water and spatula ready this time!! I was embarrassed standing there for 20 mins as everyone panicked on how to detach my face, while others laughed hysterically.

And yes the Boge IS the hardest 510 to teardown (and I agree it is 1 word) it took me 35 mins to pry that bad boy apart, hardly worth it. LOL

Wow! Reminds me of that movie where that kid got his tongue stuck on a light pole. Had you watched that movie just before that? I can't remember the name of it or when it was released.

Well, I have the same approach as you and wish I had the energy to make videos (however, I replaced all the roof shingles on my house and garage two summers ago (plus did a lot of other remodeling I won't go into), so I guess I just need to be interested in something and then I'll go ahead and do it). I thought about doing a video today, but I haven't decided whether I will or not. There's one topic that I'd like to make a video of, so I might do it one of these days. But at almost 59 years old, I just don't have much desire to get into doing that regularly, so I'll just sit here and keep typing and answering messages (until I get burned out with that one of these days).

35 minutes! I'm not surprised. I could tell it was gonna take a long time to pry out just one carto innards, so that's why I decided just to keep buying them when flushing and/or soaking doesn't clean them good enough.

I see you've made a lot of videos. I'll be sure to watch them.

Another great vid by you Shan. I wouldn't have the patience to do all of that lol I just started using a turkey baster to clean my carts for the first time in forever lol I KNOW this video will help many people on this forum. Keep up the great work. Anything will help in this recession.

Deb, hahaha! You're talking about "A Christmas Story".... "Yule shooot yer eye out!".... or the famous "Deck da harrs wiv berrs ov hawry, fa ra ra ra ra... ra ra.. ra.. ra". It's mine and my dad's fav Christmas movie. I always buy him a keep sake that has to do with it. Which reminds me, getting close to time to watch it again.

It would be awesome for you to make a vid or vids. I would so watch them. Age? It has nothing to do with it dear. I've watched videos of guys/gals in their 60s, 70s and 80s. *nudge* go on girl! make one!

757 Yes, sometimes Turkey basters, syringes, etc.. work best for people who don't have the time nor patience to pull things apart. It can be a real PITA sometimes!

E150 You should be able to refill ur carto about 20 times (flushing it every so often) before you notice it's spent. When it comes to cartos, make sure you don't vape them dry or you risk burning the core which only gives you nasty vapes from that point.

But if it was easier and quicker to pull out the innards from the battery connector, I'm sure I'd be doing that with all my old cartos.

very cool glad to see others getting into it. I've been doing a lot of other mods lately. So I've stepped away from the whole carto and cart mod for a bit. Been working on atties PVs and PTs... well as you've seen
