Hey gang :)

808A and 808B is the 8.6mm diameter super mini

808D series is 9.2mm diameter

I notice lots of folks reference 808, but really there are many 808 models and it creates a ton of confusion...

Hey, thanks for jumping in Mike! Information from those that know is always appreciated!!

While a cartomizer with the same threads as the 510 is something that is intriguing with out a doubt, I'd still prefer to have an actual manufacture and model number to refer to rather than what would appear to be a "brand" name.

Thanks!

EDIT: Are these Kanger 808 A and B?

Which model of KR808 do you have?
Are you liking the vapor production better on your KR808 then your Janty?
I just ordered a Janty eGo, so I am interested in your feedback :)

P.S. I see a complete KR808 kit is quite reasonable, only about $40.00.
Do you think it's better then the stock Joye 510 kit, which is just a little more money?
The EGO's vapor production is superior to the Joye 510 and the KR808. IMO, the KR808(I have the Vapor King) has better taste and throat hit (I use 24 MG cartomizers) than the EGO or the 510. I am using both the EGO and the KR808. At this moment, I still prefer the KR808. I do love the look of the EGO and the battery, so both serve their purposes.

I have no experience with cartos, and even less than that with soft ones. (I've seen regular ones in videos, at least)

But if they're soft, and you were to squeeze them between your teeth or whatever, would they be susceptible to squirting liquid in your mouth? Is the end-cap soft too, or is it just the sides?
It is not soft as in squishy. It only feels soft on your lips, so I can't see how liquid would squirt.

Thanks for that info.
I have (or am expecting in the mail) all the stuff you mentioned, so I am
anxious to try the eGo out.
Reviews are kind of not that great, except everyone loves the way it looks. If it produces more vapor than the standard stock Joye 510, I will be happy.
BTW, have you tried using a 510 "mega" battery?
I am getting slightly better throat hits, and of course, it lasts longer.

I have some Mega 510 carts and attys on order and it should be interesting to see the results of all these "mega" parts put together.
LOL!! it will be one VERY long e-cig :D

The EGO/Tornado is just another 3.7V battery for the 510. The only reason why you would get more vapor from it is that the internal resistance of the battery/switch is a bit lower, meaning a bit more voltage to the atty. And of course, you'd get vapor "longer" due to the substantial increase in battery capacity.

Sounds fun. Seriously, I only ordered the EGO because it is so cool looking and I wanted to see if the taste and throat hit was improved with it. I also have a cartomizer adapter, so I thought I would try that. Unfortunately, the cover will not fit over the cartomizer. I have the same complaints with the 510 on the EGO that I had with it all along. I don't like to fuss, refill constantly, or drip. The EGO solves none of those issues.
