Katya don't worry. They're in transit. hint hint
Then perhaps ya need to change your addy to LittleAngel'sWay. LOLzLOL Isaac, I've been trying very hard to be good and not have the thread take a wrong turn.![]()
Well, I am just flabbergasted. Our conversation was relatively clean until you pluralized nipple. Mr vapeLOL oh man, this someiw feels like walking into an e~cig porno! Please excuse the typos. We're at a b-day party so I'm on my phone.
Switch! I love buttery nipples! Lol I just got a free sample from vapor9 that had a label saying it's the best liquid in the world that had that bttrty taste. I definitely got to make it! Thanks for the tip!
Well, I am just flabbergasted. Our conversation was relatively clean until you pluralized nipple. Mr vapeRegardless enjoy the recipe when you get around to making it.
Lulz,
Yup! that is just for airflow. It doesn't go up there. Under normal vaping, the liquid from other cartos is sucked up the batting so to speak. The coil i situated about the middle, well at least the old ones I have pulled apart. The vaping phenomenum previously mentioned, renders the bottom of the carto to become relatively dry with moderate heavy vaping. The liquid will accumulate at the top of the batting. It is very hard to explain, but you need to trust me on this.
That is why mfrs say to take a drag or two and let it rest 1 - 10 min. Whoa, we are not about to do that. We take ten to fifteen drags per cig/session. The batting needs time between drags to re-distribute the liquid uniformally throughout the cart, before another vaping session ensues.
Having the coil at the top of the batting ensures that the wettest area of the batting, under normal vaping circumstances, is always wet/moist. This will prevent (on paper anyway) burning the batting prematurely. In this particular case/carto I would definitely use the back end condom filling method, for refilling. This would ensure the liquid is where it is suppose to be, and the "jelling" period greatly diminished after refilling.
When filling from the batt end the batting at the "mouth" end becomes saturated first, and hence an improper indication of the carto being full will ocur, with each and every subsequent filling as the carto becomes "greasy", it will retain/receive less and less liquid. This is going to occur whether the batting is completly saturated or not. As the batting can no longer accept liquid it will travel up the mesh tube and stop the reception of any further liquid. This is where the cart needs to rest for proper dispersion of the liquid uniformally, prior to vaping, or the Taryn spin applied.
Having the coil closer to the mouthpiece will ensure that the carto is ready for use after top off. During vaping, the liquid will indeed disperse uniformally to the remaining portion of the batting. The cart should contain roughly 30 drops, which equates to about 180 toots, which in turn represents about 10-12 cigarettes before the need to retop the carto, due to a decrease in vapour preduction. This is at a ratio of 5-6 hits/drop. As one can only recover 2/3 or 66% of a charge, the remainder becomes the reserve tank, and should not be vaped into, in prolonging the life of the cart.
Thanks for sharing the pics with us, and sorry for the long explanation. But I do know which cartos I will be going with and perhaps have given others a vbetter understanding of what is going on there.
Nope, I meant the mouth piece end using the condom method with 25-30 drops (30 because WWay says it will accept 30), on first charge and about 20 after that.Hi Switched,
When you say we should use the "back end filling method" you mean filling it at the battery end correct?
To be perfectly honest I didn't understand half of what you said,![]()
but are you saying the Taryn method would not work well?
Nope, I meant the mouth piece end using the condom method with 25-30 drops (30 because WWay says it will accept 30), on first charge and about 20 after that.
The Taryn spin IMHO would not be necessary, as the liquid is being vaporise at the top of the cart vice the bottom. The Taryn spin forces all the liquid to one end to permit adding more liquid than necessary. Although you will get a longer mileage out of the cart, the cart will be too wet for the atomiser to operate efficiently, for a good portion of the cart in the beginning, for which an educated guess will equal the amount added after the spin.
Once you get to know me a little more, you will come to find I tend towards efficiency more than convenience.![]()
Katya don't worry. They're in transit. hint hint![]()
Hi, SkyDragon, long time no see.
WWay, thank you for posting these pictures, here and there. I'm still hoping the black cartos will be back in stock soon (hint, hint...), if not, I'll have to order the pink ones (hint).
I so want to see the after version.

Witchway beat you to it! Sorry!
Now about those lasers of yours... I've been eyeing them... Are they in transit too? Hint, hint...
Are they pink, by any chance?![]()
Nothing like sharing a meal, I mean vape with family and friendsI'm having so much fun trading I'm going to need more too![]()
Oh Come on pink on Yellow looks good...
LOL
Hi Katya. I didn't see this. How are you doing?
I am eagerly awaiting the results of what these look like after usage.
LOL it was only 2 and I'm betting you'll want more when he gets them back in stockI'm having so much fun trading I'm going to need more too

Thanks for sharing this with us, and you are getting to be a mighty fine detectiveSorry for two posts, but I've been sitting here studying the dark marks on the inner sock. I like everybody do not want to be inhaling burnt polyfill. Actually after handling the inner sock so much I believe it to be cotton and not poly. Which makes more sense since the poly actually holds the liquid, it doesn't really absorb it, but cotton absorbs. Having the inner sock out of cotton would serve two purposes, one it is burn resistant and two it would draw the liquid out of the poly and pull it to the coil. Ok so that's just my theory and not what I came here to write about LOL.
Back to the point... After staring at the dark marks a light bulb finally turned on and I realized that I could wash the sock with soap and water and probably get a much better idea if there had been actual burning or if the dark marks were only residue from the coil. Sooooooooo here a close up pic of the area where the dark marks were.

I'm quite pleased with the results!! And this really concludes my study of the 510 cartos
