For the price, you really can't go wrong with the premium pyrex tanks from Valley View Vapes. I prefer pyrex (Or quartz glass) over acrylic tanks because glass is less prone to damage from caustic juices (cinnamon and bananna are bad boys).

Just remember, the carto is the heart of it all. All the tank does is hold juice... So try not to get too hung up over what tank is the best... The best tank is the one that doesn't leak (Stay away from the DCT's... LoL). So find a carto you like, and wrap whatever tank you want around it.

All the tanks from Valley View Vapes, Phiniac, and IBTanked are going to be quality pieces that you're sure to be pleased with.

I want to try the poly pro from valley view! But I am trying a vivi nova I have heard they are awesome!

I like carto tanks much more than vivi novas (ducks & runs). I still use the vivis, because I have them, but I found the flavor and consistency better with the carto tanks.

ETA: Polypropylene tanks, like glass & "Pyrex," don't degrade with strong juices, the vivi nova will.

I would go with a couple of the less expensive, yet quality, cartotanks to see if they fit your vape style. I'll provide two examples that would be good for an ego battery.

The 3.5 ml polypropylene DCT tank kit from My Vapor Store. 510 Pro DCTank Combo

For under $22 you get a complete tank kit, including the tube, metal endcaps, drip tip, and your choice of 5 cartomizers that already have holes for use in a tank. You'll be offered to choose between single or dual coils, the resistance (ohm rating), and the number of holes in the cartos. You can also choose between a clear or color-tinted tube. These tanks are safe to use with all flavors of e-juice, immune from cracking with flavors like cinnamon.

For an eGo, I'd choose the 3.5 ml version, with 2.0 ohm single coil cartos with 1 or 2 holes, depending upon the pg/vg ratio of your juices. If you use juice that is more than 50% vg, get the 2 hole. Otherwise the single hole will work fine.

A little nicer option is a pyrex tank from IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! $25 will get you a clear pyrex tube and stainless steel endcaps, a pre-punched carto, and a combination drip-tip and tank-filling tool. Additional cartomizers and a selection of drips tips are also available on the website. The slimmer 19mm tank is more appropriate for a slim ego battery. https://www.ibtanked.com/kits/complete-tanks/19mm-clear-tank-detail

You may wish to find an eGo cone cover like the one pictured below from an online vendor. This will hide the space between the tank and your eGo at the connection, and also provides additional support for the tank.

Just an aside note concerning the pyrex tanks from Valley View Vapes. They are excellent tanks, but be aware that they are 1" in diameter (25mm) and will look quite top-heavy on an eGo battery. Just a heads up if aesthetics are a concern.

+infinity I have a few Vivi Novas... I don't know why... Hardly any of my clearomizers ever get used unless I'm just feeling too lazy to punch a carto... LoL!

The only thing I would caution you about with the DCT style tanks is this... When you first install them on a carto, the o-rings that hold them on the carto can be awfully slippery. And if it slips off filled with juice, that juice becomes one with your pants!

Once the o-rings set up, they work great though... Just be careful not to hold your PV by the tank (who does that?) or knock the tank around for the first few hours you have it on there

It took me hours one night to find a vendor that had cones in black(!), plus other stuff I wanted to buy (I don't like paying shipping for just one little thing). eGo Sleeve Cone - The Digital Cig

What's better polypropylene or Pyrex?

Polypropylene won't crack if the tank or battery is dropped hard. Pyrex is glass, so the potential is there for it to crack if abused. Having said that, my IBTanked glass tanks have survived numerous accidental drops from my getting out of the car and forgetting my mod was on my lap, suffering no harm as it falls onto the parking lot pavement.

Pyrex is the better material for flavor. It is an inert material that will not leave a "plastic taste" to the juice that some rare individuals claim they can taste with plastic tanks. It is also crystal clear to easily see your e-juices in the tank. The polypropylene is frosted in appearance, and although you can see the juice levels, it is not clear like the glass.

Any experience with the vendor Vaporbeast? They have what looks like a good entry point and free shipping.

The Boge F17 with 5 cartos and the slim eGo cone is just under $20 shipped.

Vaporbeast has a good reputation for customer service. I've not used that tank or the vendor, but that tank would be an excellent size for an eGo. My only concern is whether the tube material is polycarbonate or polypropylene. The images show both a clear and frosted tube in the tank, and the description doesn't specify which material it is.

If you have no plans to use the flavors listed in this link, the tank could be another option for you. You could always email the vendor prior to your purchase to confirm the tube material if this is an issue.

The carto tank i used really muted the flavour so I went with a vivi nova tank (wicks instead of carto) and the flavour is great.

That's generally the opposite of most people's experience, as a cartotank often provides better flavor than a clearo or clearotank. As with everything else in vaping, your experience can vary.

I happen to believe this is due to the difference in wicking materials to the atomizer. The clearos have only silica string wicks to bring the juice and it's flavor to the atomizer, so that's a smaller surface area compared to the polyfill in a carto that totally surrounds the atomizer. I also believe that the silica material does not carry certain flavors as well as polyfill does. I have no proof of this, just a personal observation of mine.

I'm generally backwards in everything I do. It was a 3ohm tank I bought along with my vTube - may have just been a dodgy one then.

Who can tell? And who cares, really? The vivi nova works for you, so enjoy it. Whatever works to keep you off the smokes.

It's great that there are multiple options in juice delivery devices; something for everyone to try and enjoy. The trick is to find what works best for you as an individual.
