hahahaha, no.. it's the rubber top on a cartomizer when new. the bottom one is commonly called the .. wait for it.. .... plug.

OK.. so what is the condom and cap you are all talking about. I assume we are not talking about the same type of condom that a 17 year old boy has in his wallet for 4 years!

Well that is a problem... The only cartomizers I have are the 510 slotted boges that came with my liquinators and they did not come with condoms or .... plugs! Just the cartomizers in a bag. I feel ripped off! I think this vaping thing is changing me, because I never felt left out for not having condoms or .... plugs!

Those things on both ends are condoms and that little thing next to it is a .... plug. Some of the .... plugs come connected to the condom.

I finally put my Liquinator together and filled it last night and I'm impressed! So far no leaks or problems. Now I just need to adapt some Fusions for it, right now I'm using the pre slotted boge that it came with.

We've been dealing with a medical crisis with my MIL's 13 year old poodle. He started having seizures a couple of days ago, bloodwork shows his liver enzymes very elevated. The vet is pretty sure he has Cushing's Disease and he'll have a test for that tomorrow. The seizures have abated for now but he's very confused and disoriented :( Hopefully we'll know more after tomorrow's test.

Thanks for the condom/.... plug photo! It is like something straight out of hustler... Larry Flynt would be proud!

Seriously though, I am upset that mine did not come with them. I set a full one asside to put a fresh one in my liquinator and try a new flavor. On a side note, the new flavor was 'waffles with butter' and is very good. Not an all day vape, but nice for the morning!

Bov, so sorry to hear about the Poodle. Is it a standard, minature or toy? My Grandmother breed standard poodles decades ago and I grew up with them. Having a sick dog sucks! We had to put down 2 dogs in a six year period both at three years old. The first (Max) got hip dysplasia at three. After we put him down we got Buddy and he had an anurism in his spine and was not able to recover from it we gave him six months, but by the time he turned three it was obvious that quality of life was not going to be good. It was very sad. I almost did not get my labs thinking that I was cursed, but I am please to say both labs made it past three this june. So hopefully the curse has ended and the beagles will too. I hope the MIL's poodle will be OK!

Is there a difference between the boge's performance in the luquinator? Does it work better without it? I have only tried them with the luiqinator... If I pulled one out, could I try it without my luquinator, or would the slots make it function differently then a non slotted one? Why are you going to try the fusions in a liquinator, I thought you were a boge gal?

Moo the slotted ones wouldn't work outside of the tank...too much airflow from the slots and I'm sure it would leak. I'm a boge fan so I'm loving this tank for now...the flavor for me is great, always having that freshly filled punch. I love the Fusions too and I want to try them especially because of the bottom "lip" that will help keep the tank from slipping if I handle it too roughly.

Reggie is a toy poodle, registered. The vet suspected Cushing's a year ago when he had some problems but MIL didn't want to do a lot of expensive tests since treatment doesn't extend life expectancy. MIL took him to the vet this morning for testing that will take all day. Poor thing is still very confused, disoriented and has a drunken gait. It could be caused by the Cushing's or his extremely high liver enzymes. Hopefully we'll know more late this afternoon.

Still loving that new avatar, it is SO cute....

I haven't had any big slipping issue with the boges yet, even when it does slip a little (usually only when I am messing with it) it hasn't leaked everywhere. I did read somewhere that people were solving the slipping by adding an extra o-ring. It was probably somewhere in this thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartomizers/189208-tank-o-matic-liquinator-v4-1-a.html

But if it was I could not tell you where to look in the 66 pages!

How is the poodle? Hope he is doing OK.

I'm pretty sure it was hairball who posted about the added o-ring.
He'll probably catch this and verify. My bet is on Hairball. :thumb:

Well then I am going to wait for hairball to chime in, because I did not feel like weeding through 66 pages to find that one post!

I don't know how my husband would feel if a strange man named MrJaguar mailed me condoms and .... plugs!

I use a #5 O ring with an adapter to secure it from slipping towards the battery. There's nothing that can be done about upwards. I have been trying to get Vaporescence to make them a little tighter to stop the movement.

Thanks Hairball, I remember your talking about this. So far I haven't had any sliding and I do have some o-rings but since I'm not using an adapter there wasn't room at the bottom for the ring to fit. I may pick up a 510 extender if I start having problems.

Reggie the poodle's test results came in this morning and he does have Cushing's Disease. He's in no pain, just disoriented and wobbly on his feet since this disease causes muscle weakness. He will start on meds Monday that we hope will reduce the symptoms. There is no cure but it is manageable, altho at his advanced age he most likely won't be with us much longer. We'll shower him with love until his time comes.

Hey Bov,
I think that kwcharlie had exact measurements listed somewhere (instead of using the cap)....if I can find it, I'll post the link.

Yay, thank you Pokey! I have rummaged thru my FIL's tools and haven't found a dremel, but like 5C said...I can pick up an off brand one cheap. The regular boge I'm using right now still has plenty of life in it :)

ETA: Wonder if a cut off wheel would fit my Pedipaws LMAO!! Chase won't let me get near him with it <snort>
