So in your opinion what is the difference between the fusions and the boge in the tank?

Moorea, you'll have to wait on Bov to answer that. I haven't used a boge in the tank.

If I went this way, I assume asside from slotting the fusion myself, I would need to get a 510 to 801 adaptor for my buzz pro. Is it better to get an adaptor or an 801 top cap? How hard is it to replace the caps? I don't see an adaptor on notcigs, so if replacing the caps is easy I would probably just go that way!
I use an adapter but I've been told by several people that replacing the cap is easy. Again, I haven't tried it, so I hope someone who has will chime in and give you a more definitive answer.

And I assume they fit fine in the 510 Liquinator as well! Well I guess I am off to buy a dremal. Ours disapeared when a friend who was staying at our house for a few months left the state!

Yes, they will fit. My understanding is that the tank is defined by the carto you purchase with it; other than that, the Boge, the Fusion, the DC will all fit as it is the same size diameter in the caps.

Hey, G!

That was fast...looks like you're off to a great start.

Curious, what did you use to cut the polycarb? Because after my fun with the Dremel, if it ain't in my kitchen drawer, it ain't happenin' over here. :)

I used a pipe cutter, the type used to cut copper pipe, you keep tightening as you spin the cutter around the pipe. It was a little tough, although I may need to put a new blade on. It wanted to start crushing and deforming the polycarbonate tubing and stiil not be cutting into it.

The grommets were a pain, I had to increase the size of the Carto hole, I highly recommend people just get the correct size if they go this route. :)

But, this first one I made doesn't leak and works great, I am looking forward to making a better version.

Well I did it! I ordered a few fusions and the 801 buzz pro top cap! Picked up a new dremel today as well so now all I have to do is wait for them to show up at the post office! I wonder if I have to wait for notcigs to get through building all the buzz pros to get to my top cap order, or if they are shipping non buzz pro orders in between! Either way I will have the boges here when my Buzz Pro arrives (which tracking says will be Saturday :2cool::2cool: )

The top caps are easy to change Moo, but I prefer to use a 510 to 801 adapter with the Fusions so I can manage the airflow to my liking. I haven't tried a Fusion in my tank yet so I can't answer that question. What I can tell you is that I've been a devoted boge girl since I started vaping and the Fusions are the only carto I've tried that matches the flavor and with some juices, exceeds the flavor of a boge! I couldn't care less about throat hit, in fact I hate it...and between my DIY mixes, Fusions and boges I'm very happy with the amount of flavor and vapor I get :)

I was going to go with the adapter, but I did not see one on notcigs.com and I am trying to limit the number of vendors I am shopping from. I'd like to give notcigs whatever business I can... As it is, between the Buzz Pro and this new fusion project I am currently tracking 5 packages. Two from notcigs (buzz pro and top cap) one from Inkenvape (the fusions) and I also decided to get a nice purple drip tip to match my new buzz pro as well as an additonal liquinator tank, so I can keep a boge and fusion going at the same time and really compare them, then I'll use the second one on the infinity pro when I get it! Did I mention I was going to credit card hell!

And I do have to keep an eye on tracking, because without postal delivery, I have to drive to the post office when a package arrives!

I also like the idea of a top cap to keep the PV a bit smaller. The Buzz has already been a big jump in size for me from my little tornado these past few weeks!

The nice part is I will be able to use the fusions for a little while before the infinity comes out... If I like them better then the boges, I think I will order my infinity with an 801 top cap!

He's shipping in between, Moorea. You should be good to go...

Yup, I got the tracking # yesterday! It looks like it will beat the fusions here so it is all good!

Moo, be sure you let those Fusions soak 15 or 20 minutes on the first fill!!

After the horrible taste of burning out my first boge from not waiting long enough I've been waiting 2 hours after first fill! Is that overkill??? Also is that 15 - 20 minutes based on sitting there and drip filling it, or based on letting it soak in through the slots while in the tank? I haven't been dripping into the top that much when filling it up for the first time. I find anything more then 5 or 6 drops makes it girgle (for lack of better word) for a while. So I basically just fill the tank, drop a few drops on top and wait 2 hours!

It will be nice to finally meet you, I'm already in credit card hell LMAO!

Well, it will be nice to have company when I get there, it won't be long! Do they let you keep your infinity there?

That's overkill (I give it 30 minutes, and that's probably overkill).

But as you've discovered, better to overkill than not to have killed at all...

Not only did our Buzz Pro's arrive today, but my fusions did as well! Unfortunately tracking says I will have to wait until Monday to get the 801 top cap! I also ordered a 510 purple anodized purple drip tip to match my new buzz (and it is a nice match) but when you use the new drip tip it seems that the tank now slides up a little further then it did with the drip tip that came with it. So while the fusions solved the sliding down problem... I now have decide if I want to use the new matching drip tip or the one that has a bit of a slide!

Can't wait until my 801 top cap arives to try them!

Calling all those who have more Tank-O-Matic Liquinator knowledge then me (which everyone reading this probably does)

OK... so I purchased two new liquinator tanks. One for my mom (purchased on the 7/14) and one for me (purchased 7/21) to keep a 2nd flavor I like in it.

The ones we got for me and the hubby a month ago are nice and tight. Yes they slip up or down, but there is enough resistance that the tank does not slip off the cartomizer without knowing you are doing it. If I reach over to grab my buzz and grab it by the tank it is snug enough to stay on!

The new new ones purchased have no resistance at all, if you put the cartomizer in the tank and then put it on the buzz pro if you hold the tank it slips right over the drip tip and off the buzz pro. It slips all the way down just as easily. My moms buzz pro arrived today and I went over to show her how to use it. I filled the liquinator and while screwing it onto her buzz it was so loose the tank slipped right off in my hand and I was taking a 30ml juice bath!

I came home and played with my new tank and it is the same?

Do these two new tanks need to be returned? I'd like to find a solution that does not include returning them, while I like the tanks (at least the two I have that work correctly), there customer service leaves a bunch to be desired, they still have not replied to a support question I sent a month ago.

Is there something we can use as a spacer on the bottom so the tank does not slide all the way down flush with the buzz? It is not too much of a problem for me as I am awaiting an 801 top cap and will use the fusions, so once my top cap gets here the tank won't slip down with the fusions. But I do need to figure out what to do to prevent sliding down with my moms? And for both of them need to prevent it sliding over the drip tip and off!

moorea -

I would think an o-ring or rubber washer would do the trick as long as it is a snug fit around the carto. Also, you could try cutting out the bottom of a carto "condom" and then cutting it to the height you want and slipping that on between the tank and the Buzz. That might provide enough resistance so the tank won't slide down. Good Luck!

Thanks GMoney, I was thinking some kind of o-ring, just wasn't sure what size, maybe I'll have to bring it to the hardware store with me... I wonder if that would work on the top as well. I think I am going to try the "condom" on top and bottom right now, I have them here, so why not start out with what is on hand. I am also concerned about covering what looks like tiny airholes at the tip of the buzz pro top cap. I'll play with it!

Well that was quick... cutting a small ring out the condom did not work, it is to flimsly and the tank and "condom" ring just slid right down to the bottom of the buzz together... Didn't even bother trying it on top.

I am wondering if the Cherry Vapes Dream Tips would work for the top... They look like they have a big bulge in the center which would prevent the tank from sliding up, but I am also wondering if the bottom part that slips down inside the cartomizer would be long enough to make it past the tank and intot he carto.

The size you need is a #5 o-ring Moo. I used an o-ring off of the bottom of a drip tip that I don't use. It was a pain to roll it onto the bottom but it works great. My Dream Tip doesn't seat completely in the boge on my tank since I have to use a little extra room on the bottom for the o-ring :(

I'd be ...... if they didn't answer my questions! They would have a full e-mail box if it were me :p
