Slot high (above 3/8”) girl: my first one I put two slots in and it leaked some, this one just one slot and doing fine, thinking small is good but not sure, one slot on the leaker was a little low and that may have been the leak. Not good news about the new ones being sliders, with the flux’s won’t matter as much because of the lip.

These new ones slide so badly it won't really matter how you carry them. Screwing them onto the buzz is tricky enough without them sliding off. I was pulling my old more secure tank in and out of my front jeans pocket all day today at the art fair and the tank did not budge!

Bov... you must be SO much more patient then I. My 801 top cap should be at the PO tomorrow and I am going to have my fusions slotted tonight so I can give them a try! Even purchased a new dremel for the occasion. And based on KW's post I am going to slot 3/8" up with one slot to start!

You would think the lip on the fusion would help... But it won't. If the tank slides down it does not matter as much because at least you have the PV to stop it from sliding off... These new tanks however are sliding right up and over the drip tip like they want to be no where near a PV! I put one of my fusions into a dry tank to test it out, obviously no downward slide... but it slid right off the top! Mom's was filled full with 3ml's when I was putting it on her buzz yesterday, it slid right over the drip tip. I am surprised I did not OD on nicotine with how much was dripping off my hands.

I did buy some orings today, but decided to save them for something else. I am so put off and disapointed at how poorly these two new liquinators are that I either want my money back or ones that work the way they are supposed to! Hairball mentioned two other vendors are selling them now, so I am going to send a PM to find out who! As for mom, while we wait to get these replaced, I guess I will just throw on one of the stormy tanks I am no longer using so at least she can try out and enjoy her new buzz!

So far for me it has been more like 50% (or exactly like) but hopefully they will restore my faith and make right and I can go back to having ALL my liquinators work!

I did a bunch of cartridge modding back in 2009! But I got of tired of the straws and tea bags etc! If someone came up with something that might make an atty work better... we tried it! In the end it just became more of a hassle then it was worth and we quit vaping! You can buy a ton of stuff now that works better then the things we were trying to make then!

Besides I wouldn't call it "modding" sliding an oring on the top and bottom of the tank to prevent it from sliding! But I decided I paid almost $50 for those tanks... they should arive working, so the orings will probably get used in aquarium pump at a later date!

Dangitt Moo I was all over that liquinator preparing too order up...Keep us posted...PLEASE!! Normally I would've already ordered before reading this...

I've got a fistful of those little 510 Joyes heading here ASAP!!! Should be enough for 6 months minimum....

CoV is sending out some Boge 510 cartos...they're black though so I'm guessing they won't play in a tank...

Also picked some stainless 306 Boge cartos....Now I was very unimpressed by the 306 atties,,,A glutton for punishment I thought these may work...Anyone tried the 3.0 306 Boge Carto???They sell well so maybe....just maybe

Moorea,

I believe that there are supposed to be o-rings within the cap openings of the Liquinator? It's hard for me to see, black on black, but I recall reading that somewhere in their lengthy thread. Maybe they were accidentally omitted? Or the wrong size placed?

Do let us know what they tell you and, if it should come up, I would be curious to know the size of those particular rings. Thanks.

I am sorry to hear of your troubles with the two new tanks. :(

Every carto about 7 so far have leaked out of the battery end the tank has not leaked but I have tried every suggestion with no luck. I have lost about 30ml of liquid.

I have 2 of those tanks and have given up. All the pre cuts and the ones I have cut myself have leaked until they are empty.

RC

Sure feel bad for ya RC having all these problems with the liquinator.

I am on my 4-5 refill now and everything is excellent. I did seem to flood it once and it took awhile to get things going again, but when it did - it really did.

I also have had to "adjust" the carto ends a couple times when they appeared to quit working. I am still using the carto that came with the tank. I think I read that they are Boge's.

I wish yours was working like mine. LIke I've read, the vape is fresh each and every time, which is not generally what I got from solely using cartomizers, tho my experience using cartos has been pretty darn good so far. That is probably cuz I use IKV cartos for the most part.

If you leak air in anywhere as in the other end they will leak. You have to get that baby with a tight seal on both ends to create a vacuum. No air in, no juice out. When it's right you will see air bubbles come out of the slot as you puff because your also pulling juice in.

Calling all those who have more Tank-O-Matic Liquinator knowledge then me (which everyone reading this probably does)

OK... so I purchased two new liquinator tanks. One for my mom (purchased on the 7/14) and one for me (purchased 7/21) to keep a 2nd flavor I like in it.

The ones we got for me and the hubby a month ago are nice and tight. Yes they slip up or down, but there is enough resistance that the tank does not slip off the cartomizer without knowing you are doing it. If I reach over to grab my buzz and grab it by the tank it is snug enough to stay on!

The new new ones purchased have no resistance at all, if you put the cartomizer in the tank and then put it on the buzz pro if you hold the tank it slips right over the drip tip and off the buzz pro. It slips all the way down just as easily. My moms buzz pro arrived today and I went over to show her how to use it. I filled the liquinator and while screwing it onto her buzz it was so loose the tank slipped right off in my hand and I was taking a 30ml juice bath!

I came home and played with my new tank and it is the same?

Do these two new tanks need to be returned? I'd like to find a solution that does not include returning them, while I like the tanks (at least the two I have that work correctly), there customer service leaves a bunch to be desired, they still have not replied to a support question I sent a month ago.

Is there something we can use as a spacer on the bottom so the tank does not slide all the way down flush with the buzz? It is not too much of a problem for me as I am awaiting an 801 top cap and will use the fusions, so once my top cap gets here the tank won't slip down with the fusions. But I do need to figure out what to do to prevent sliding down with my moms? And for both of them need to prevent it sliding over the drip tip and off!

I don't know about the liquinator but the MAP tank used to do that. I found if you make sure it's clean and dry on the cap, o-rings, and tank they don't slip. On mine anyway. There a little harder to get in but they stay put. But like I said that was the MAP. I don't like either of them though because the caps take up too much room. The one I built is on week 3 and probably 75 refills. I'm going to build a really nice one when I get my other projects finished.

Moo I can tell you exactly what I would do....call and tell them you want this problem resolved! They charge enough for these Liq. tanks that they should be prepared to take care of their customers. I've had good luck with mine so far, but if they don't take care of you...they can kiss any further orders from me good'by. Suppliers need to take customer service lessons from Mike!! (sorry, my inner ..... slipped out!)

Thanks for the advice Charlie. I took my rotary tool out of it's packaging today...maybe I'll get a Fusion slotted later LMAO!

Hello All!

OK I am posting with good news! I called Vaporescence (972) 238-VAPE (8273) and James was wonderful. Before I finished telling him my story... He told me they got a batch of bads ones! He was very apologetic and said he was sending out two new tanks while we were talking. As for me getting the wrong color... he informed he recently fired someone and needed to go through all the orders now, but would be sending me out the correct color this time! He assured me the two he was replacing would work as well as the first two I have! So I will post back when they arrive. Based on past orders, they should be here before the week is over!

And for those who have not lost faith in these tanks and are looking to coridinate with your new Buzz Pro (or Infinity Soon) I heard they were coming out with stainless ones and asked whent hey would be available on line, James told me Wedensday! I asked if brass was in the future... he informed me that brass did not go well with e-liquid, but they will be coming out with an entire anodized line, he spouted off a bunch of colors, but the two that caught my ear... Gold and Purple!

I will keep everyone informed!

So if he have to contact these guys, don't bother emailing... they do fall short there, but phone support seems very good!

That's great Moo!!! See? just letting me rant here for you created some good vibes for you LOL

Note to self (and others): Don't try to slot your carto where the side seam is! I got a Fusion slotted but between the poor lighting in the basement and my poor old eyes, I didn't notice the seam. It broke a cutting disk, but I got it done. I haven't tried it yet since my droppers are in the room Kevin is asleep in. I'll let you know later how it works out. I used an old Fusion for my first try.

We have Fusionator lift off! So far so good, no leaks. I used a pipette to fill the tank since you have to fill these from the top and that worked great. I did still get the Fusion flooded, but I just wiped the battery end off and gently blew the center hole clear :)

I only filled my tank half full since I had a lack of confidence in my handiwork LOL

I just filled from the top dripping off to the side. That worked fine! I did not get any gurgle or flooding! But I am not sure if I like these as much as the Boge. I do LOVE the fact that the tank slipping down is no longer possible.... Currently the Boges I am using are the 2ohm LR's (I know 5card and others are against that) but I have been finding since I got Wharfs buzz, that with the regulars I have to turn the voltage up prety high to get to my desired vapor/throat hit. And with the voltage that high I get a little bit of an odd flavor. With the 2.0ohm Boges I am able to turn the voltage down a bit mantain my flavor and get the vapor and TH I like!

Back to the fusions, I am finding that the LR fusions are a bit harsh, I had to turn the wheel way down, the flavor is good down there but not much vapor and it kinds of goes from harsh to not enough TH very quickly. So I am thinking I am going to slot and try one of the regular ones, because I really like that these won't slip down!

Question, I do not want to soak it in the tank... as I already waited an hour without vaping waiting on the first one (and I was missing my Buzz) so how many drops do I drip to get the regular fusion filled, after I fill it... How long do I wait to slide it into the tank and begin using it!

That is a good thing. I did however buy a few LR and a few regulars
