We have Fusionator lift off! So far so good, no leaks. I used a pipette to fill the tank since you have to fill these from the top and that worked great. I did still get the Fusion flooded, but I just wiped the battery end off and gently blew the center hole clear

I only filled my tank half full since I had a lack of confidence in my handiwork LOL

Question, I do not want to soak it in the tank... as I already waited an hour without vaping waiting on the first one (and I was missing my Buzz) so how many drops do I drip to get the regular fusion filled, after I fill it... How long do I wait to slide it into the tank and begin using it!

A regular Fusion, normally takes 18 to 22 drops to fill.

With the fusions in my home made pos Custom Hi Tech Fusionator tank: I just slotted them, slapped the tank together, filled the tank, shook it around a little, put 5 or 8 drops in the top(directly into the "filling material) and started vaping immediately, taking a few very short pulls at first to be sure I wasn't dry burning.

Drops are so different from person to person...or bottle to bottle. I can get a good 30 drops into a new Fusion.

Moo, the one I slotted for my tank today was one I was already using so it was already saturated pretty well. I do it like G$, but on a brand new Fusion I would give it at least 15 mins to soak just to avoid the possibility of dry burning. You vape at a lot higher voltage than I do, and since I hate throat hit the Fusions are great for me and my home made juice.

After a little more use, I'm not sure if I like the fusion or boge better... The husband however likes the Boges and doesn't seem to want to make a change. But I am thinking seeing as slotting was so easy why pay the extra to buy them slotted, so as if I have not asked you wonderful people enough questions... here is another.

Where is the best place to buy a Boge!

I have been using a 1ml pipette and have had good success with that - missing the carto and the inside of the cap opening entirely while filling.

I love southern humor (my husband was born and raised in the south) and my best friend is in Georgia! I'll be spending some time there when her baby is born! I've got family in Georgia and North Carolina as well!

So where is the best place to pick up the 510 boges to slot them yourself? I see them at a bunch of websites, but when buying on-line I like to make sure a vendor is reliable before I click on "add to cart"! Also are all LR Boges 2 ohm's like the ones on vaporescence, becuase I do not want to go lower then that! I am trying to transition to from lr to regular, but the hubby is set in his ways!

I got some Boges from Liberty Flights the last time....Hey they got a killer deal on Joye 510 atties...LF's Boges are so so taste wise but last forever...I got Boges coming from Bruce @ Clouds of Vapor this time....Problem is they all have a black paper glued on....RATS!!!!!!!!! Guess I'll be using my skills too remove that....

If you ordered them today I do not think they will be faulty. I asked him very specifically if there was any chance the two replacements will have the same problem and he told me that they got rid of all the faulty ones and are no longer shipping them... So you should be good!

I definately do not want any that have the paper glued on them!!! Since I am back to vaping my goal has been to make it as task free as possible. With two kids, 4 dogs, a hedgehog, a chameleon and a husband to take care of (not mention a business to run) I really do not want to make my vaping a project. I wasn't even going to slot my own, but it was so easy why not save a few dollars, but peeling off paper is more work then I want to do! I want to be able to fill my tank, change my batteries (and now slot my carts) and not think about it again until the next fill/change/slot! If I have to be messing with this to much, it could drive me to start smoking again!

Moo, I've been around power tools all my life so I have no fear of them...just a healthy respect. I'll admit that I would be watching the hubby do the slotting but by the time he got around to it I'd be dead from old age! He can stick with the computer stuff, and I'll take care of the cartos LOL

I just found these: CE2 XL 510 Clearomizer - Avid Vaper

No wires or solder in the tube. I know there's not too many CE2 fans here but there was some concern about solder in them. I'm probably going to grab some to see what they're all about.

For comparison; you can see in this pic, labeled Rev 5, that the wires are there.

LD, I been throwing my Mega 808s in the drill and sand paper to remove the paper from them. I've only had to do one though as it is still pouring out the vapor like a new one.

My husband has been trying my fusion setup here and there and trying to cmpare it to the Boge. I do not notice much of difference but he notices a slight one. I currently have the tanked filled with a 24mg juice that has a lighter taste (waffles w/ butter) The liquid in the Boge tank is 30mg (or 36) WTF (a much heavier tasting liquid) When I need to refill, I am going to fill up with the same liquid and do a side by side! I am hoping the fusions grow on him, then I can just shop from one place and not have to pay shipping twice! Assuming that sale on Electronicstix.com isn't always running the SS fusions are priced better on ikenvape.com at $1.60 per 10 then the $2.00 per for the Boges at Electronicstix.com.

Bov, I'm not really afraid of power tools! We live in a fairly large log cabin we built ourselves (with the help of a close family friend) and I was involved with every part but the roof (I am not comfortable that high up if there are no railings) I've used grinders, sanders, drills, belt sanders, chop saws, table saws and on and on. I do however stay away from the chain saws, but have no problem holding the end of the log steady that is not being cut! Being tiny (4' 10") I also never ventured to use the massive concrete saw, as I just don't think I could lift it! But the house was built 12 years ago and I was much younger then! Now that I am in my 40's I figure I will leave that kind of work to those that are more comfortable with the tools! And really the Hubby has to have something to do around here! When he is employed (which is an on and off thing) he builds, repairs and networks computers and there really isn't that much to do around our house as he is good at what he does and the computers and networks are usually running fine! If I did not give him things to do, he would end up playing xbox all day or tinkering without purpose in his garage!

Just don't tell anyone, still trying to keep up the girly girl appearance! Really I don't mind getting my hands dirty, but I have come to an age where I feel like why bother if I don't have too! I still like to get involved with the more creative projects going on in our shop now and again!

Well Fusion VS. Boge test has begun. I finished my Waffles... got a fresh un-used Fusion filled it up with the same juice that is in the hubbies Boge! I am going to give my Fusion a few hours to break in (it seems as the fusions need a little more of a break in period then the Boges IMO) then we will try them each at side by side at various different voltages!
