Dee I guess I live on the edge...I slotted my Fusion holding it on a piece of scrap wood with one hand and holding the dremel in the other hand. Maybe my cheapie dremel doesn't have the oomph it needs, I saw no sparks and it seemed to take forever to cut thru the carto. The carto is still working fine. This is the cheapo I got, but I paid a little less for it Rotary Tool Kit - 80 Piece Set We have a Harbor Freight store local.
The cheapo I bought for $10.00 doesn't even have a name. I just says Mini Die Grinder and made in Japan on it. But it has outlasted 3 Dremmels.

I wear glasses, does that count?!

Nevermind...

I re-read your post about slotting the Fusion - you were blaming the poor lighting for hitting the seam; I thought you didn't have your glasses on. My bad.

Sure, it counts, Bov. I had my cheaters on; that counts too. Well, sort of.

I forget that we're on the intarwebz sometimes LOL. Yep I have 3 pairs of glasses (I can't adjust to bifocals) Distance glasses, mid range for computer, and a third script for reading and close up work. I had my computer glasses on and needed my readers!! I've worn glasses since I was old enough to keep them on my head :p

5C, I may try one of the thin grinding wheels next instead of the little cutting disks. Shoot, I'm not even sure I had it on the right mandrel!

The one with the screw in it. I used that wheel because I broke my last abrasive disk.

This is the only Dremmel that would hold up for me.

and I got this kit but I still keep my $10.00 one.

Ok, I'm using the one with the screw in it...it was the only one that made sense. The instructions that came with mine are written so small that I can't even read it with my reading glasses

I think I broke a disk because I stopped to see if I had broken thru the carto yet. I still needed to cut it more and probably hit the partial slot off center. They are flimsy little things! I used a dental pick to make sure there were no metal frags stuck in the carto.

I think you will like it... IMHO the tank rocks (when it works) and I keeping my fingers crossed that the ones sent out this week work!

When your tank arrives, Please post back and let me know if the Ming Cherry Vape work with the tank. I've been thinking about purchasing one for use with my tank. I like the fact that it has a bulb in the middle (this would solve slipping up and down when using a fusion) but I am not sure if the part the norrow part that goes into the cartomizer would make it far enough into the tank.

You know what, I think I asked this in this thread and Bov already answered, but I don't remember what the answer was and Bov was not using fusions in the tank at the time... so maybe the answer has changed! If I find myself less lazy later I shall go look and see!

I bought some 306 Boge carto's awhile back to see if there was a difference. The only difference I noticed was that they are slimmer than a 510, hold less juice and there weren't any drip tips available for them. I ended up only using them to try new juices when I didn't want to risk a new 510.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news Moo, but my Dream tip won't work with the boge or the fusion in the tank :( I'm using the black/white marbled one I got with my tank.

Well that STINKS! And I am pretty sure you already told me that. I was a bit tired and silly when posting last night!

It is a shame that they won't fit. Those dream tips with the fusion would really be the answer to a perfect non-slip liquinator. Not that my working liquinator slips much, but that would make sure it never would.

Bov... do you have a Ming or Pawn Cherry Vape tip. The photos I am looking at look like the bottom end that slip into the carto are a bit longer on the Ming, it could just be a bad photo of course, but if you have the pawn maybe El Dee will report back with better news on the Ming!

I wonder what other drip tips there are that offer that wider circular center, but have longer bottoms that will go into the carto further?

ModRod you're quiet correct....I pulled one out of the pack and attempted too stick my smallest 510 tip in it...A no go.....RATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOILED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! The vaping emergency only supply grows yet again.....

The black Boge 510 started waining...I had fresh Joye 510s in the pack and a couple of Mings that needed a little dripping time...and that combo is GREAT!!!!!!!! Anyway....I knew the black Boge was stainless underneath so I grabbed the corner of the covering and yanked it off...Kinda tough at first and a little heat would probably help but it came right off...A little alcohol and the glue residue vanished leaving a stainless BOGE 510 carto!!!!!!!!!!!

Moo the Ming has a very secure feel in a carto and now an atty...The tank should be here tomorrow and I can def tell you then...Unless the top of the carto is recessed into the top of the liquinator I can see no reason it won't play...My Super -Ts have too be driven in and often require pliers for removal...This Ming is a little longer in the o-ring area and fits securely with a little snap...I got a green swirly and a blue swirly too!!!!!!! I'm digging the Ming...One things for certain..I'll be back too a double Buzz attack,,,,hopefully tomorrow,,,,one too drip with and one with a tank and carto combo....Hopefully both Minged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it is recessed a little bit and there is a bulge on the ming, so it needs to go far enough down before you hit that bulge! With the Boge you can pull it down a little further then it needs to be if you want to make that recess smaller, but with the fusion it only goes so far and then stops, so it will be interesting to see if the drip tip works with the Ming, a fusion and a liquinator! If you say 'yes' then I am buying a ming tomorrow!

USPS tracking says my replacement tanks should be here tomorrow as well, but I do not trust anything the USPS says so we will see.

Looking forward to hear how you like yours!

I love mine and it is really rocking with the fusions and the Boges in there are really running a very close second. Everything else that I have liked for the first day or so, eventually disapoints by day 2 or 3. This combination, fusion/liquanator or boge/liquinator has not disapointed yet and it has been over a month! Add the Buzz Pro to the mix and it all is good!

My disclaimer is, I have not tried nearly as many cartomizers, attys, tanks, CE2 and on and on then most of you! The only carto I tried prior to fusion/boge was the clear dual coil and I hated it from day one. Tried a few different CE2 setups and they all fell short a few days in, and of course the old school 510 and 801 attys from back when and I've only tried 510 and 801's!

On Wednesday I put a fresh fusion in my tank and the husband put a fresh Boge in his, since then we have been passing our BP's back and forth at various voltages and doing comparisons. Comparing the Fusion to the Boge side by side for the last few days, it seems to me that after a short break in period (which is helped and possibly sped up by turning up the voltage a bit) the fusions are really good to start and just get better with every vape. The Boge seems to have a little less of a break in, are really nice, but unlike the fusion, does not get better with time. That of course is just my humble opinion and not worth much! I might even be imagining the improvement over time as I really like this fusion, but it just feels warmer and the taste seems richer two days later. The way things go for me I will probably be posting next week that the fusions stopped working for me so who knows!

Wow... just started this post to say hope you enjoy your liquinator and let us know what you think... and it seems I have really rambled on!

...but I really needed those things Bov.......the devil made me do it.

Sorry you had to deal with that....I just went thru that about 2 months ago myself. Everything purchased($1200.00) was from China web sites but nothing electronic, which surprised me.

LOL Rosco...you really needed to download songs from Itunes?! Just ask next time ;)

I caught it early, it was 2 separate charges, 2 days apart for $1 each. I get email alerts for anything over 99cents. I've had this CC account since the early '90s so they are always nice to me when I have to contact them.
