All I do is clean the tank and end caps (yes I take them off) in hot soapy water. Then I rinse them in hot water, dry them, reassemble and fill.I have a question that is prolly answered somewhere on this thread but too lazy to look. How are you cleaning your tank when you want to change flavors? I have a fresh, slotted boge but what do you suggest I rinse the tank out with? Do you take off the end caps or no? TIA

Sounds good to me. That should clean them quite nicely.
Since I rarely change from Menthol, I don't do this too often. I have a 2nd tank if I want to vape other eliquids and that one I clean between flavors..maybe. I have just wiped it with a tissue and called it "good".
I have years of working for our government, so I learned early on how to "skate" thru the challenging times.
But of course I do it "aesthetically".
Cleaned, refueled (with Caramel Cream) freshly slotted Fusion, and ready for lift off

I haven't cleaned mine yet. I've been switching back and forth between two flavors that compiment each other. If you add the new flavor when almost empty, you taste the mix for a little bit, then then the new flavor!
When you do clean it, don't forget to lubricate with juice of pg before putting the tops back on... wouldn't want to crack your tank!

I quit doing that on my MAP because it made them slip out too easy. But the MAP has a thicker tank so maybe you have to grease that one up. It sure made my endc stay in place though. I can't wait for Mike to get his done.
OK... so how do you know when your carto is done or close to done. I put this fusion on at some point last week. It just isn't working well all day. The taste is off, it is more of burnt taste then the flavor that is in there... It is however firing OK. Is this what happens when a carto is done???
I tested it. It started off at 2.0ohms and now it is at 2.1ohms.

Yeah, I started a new one. Just wanted to check if it was done, haven't been using cartos long enough to kill one so I figured I would make sure that is what happened!

They can last months or minutes. There just isn't a fixed timeline for cartos. I usually get pretty good time out of one. The Mega 808 actually tasted better but it was off and it had been going around a month so I changed it. I've also changed them after a day. I don't take any chances when it comes to things I'm putting into my body.
Sound advise. As it was my first carto gone bad I wasn't sure. But before anyone even posted back I kind of felt the same way... it was tasting like burnt plastic, if I wanted to put something burnt in my lungs I would not be trying so hard to quit smoking! So I just threw it away, thats the reason I have 20 fusions in my vaping drawer!
LOL... but I don't have enough juice to fill that! Nor can I afford that much juice right now!
I have to thank you guys for all of the "tank talk" in this thread. I picked up a liquinator and it's awesome. Makes using my Buzz with carto super convenient. Can't wait to see the tank that Notcigs puts out. A tank that matches my BuzzPro.. that's just heavenly!!
TJ, I'm glad you are enjoying your tank! This is my first tank experience and I love mine. After all the complaining over the CE whatevers and leaking others, I was very hesitant but I'm glad I went for this one I'm looking forward to Mike's tanks too.
