I have been vaping for almost 3 years now and this has happened more that once. My husband and I love to play slots and I sit down at a machine to play and a little while latter a woman usually in her 40's or 50's comes and sits down next to me. Now I am in the smoking section of the casino, I blow out a cloud of vapor and the lady starts coughing alot and waving her hands to move the vapor away from her. I usually sit there for a few seconds watching her coughing and waving her hands, then I hold up my PV and say "Lady it is not smoke it is not a cigarette." The look on their face is priceless and then they want to know what it is. I tell them it is vapor and no more coughing or hand waving. It is absolutely amazing to me how quickly the vapor doesn't seem to bother them anymore LOL

Incredible that the vapor can have some weird psychological effect one someone... If they get so irritated about the smoke (vapor), why even sit in the smoking section?

Some people have the automatic "you don't have the right to pollute my air" syndrome regardless of the fact that they choose to sit in the smoking section. Freaking amazing...and funny!
I have the same problem. They don't like the non smoking section cause usually they stay empty all the time and rarely hits. I actually had one lady tell me to put my cig out! I pointed to the non smoking section and told her to go there.

Yea the only casino I go to is smoking, pretty much everywhere I think, can't think of a non-smoking area except maybe the blackjack pits but that's because they don't want people to .... up the cards and possible mark them or something.

A couple friends and I go to the hard rock and play the tables all 4 of us have provaris .... We get so many questions from everyone and now the dealers are all starting to vape
Did they expect to be smoke-free in a smoking section? Just saying...they make up the ..... in oxymoron...
the only no smoking casino I know of is the Palace Casino, in Biloxi, Ms. All the rest are smoking with no smoking sections. I even had one lady tell me she just got out of the hospital for lung problems so could i put out my cigarette, I was already at the slot machine before she came and sat down. I told her it wasn't a cigarette and if she just got out of the hospital what was she doing in a smoke filled casino. She got up and left.....go figure....I just have to shake my head over some people
which casino was it? sucks that people in Louisiana have little to no exposure to vaping.

We were at the newest casino in Baton Rouge, when the lady started waving her hand about the imagined smoke and just last week we went to Cypress Bayou in Baldwin, La and a guy, started waving his hands and shaking his head over the vapor, I decided not to say anything to him to see if he would realize it wasn't smoke and see that the thing I had in my hand wasn't a cigarette. He got up and left
I've spent some time in a few casinos in Oregon and Washington since I started vaping. All were smoking-allowed and I only had one minor issue: someone came and sat down next to me and as soon as I took another puff on my ego, they immediately cashed out and left w/o a word. Otherwise, no one's said a single negative word.
