PG can be harmful to cats. These links were posted on an Australian vaping site, so I am sure they've already been posted on ECF somewhere:

Cat's and Vaping.... Something I did not know.... - YouTube

The Australian forum members have divided opinions as to whether vaping does pose a significant health hazard to our beloved cats. I am torn now. I like vaping inside - especially on these cold winter nights, but I don't want to put my cats at risk.

I will read the links ..thanks ! I do keep all juices away from her and capped tightly ,and i make sure never to drip or fill when shes around me ....i know i have a real big concern for bird owners tho .Really susceptible to what they breath ...and people have killed their birds from cooking odors and the release of the compounds that come off of non stick pans ...always kept my bird far away from kitchen and no spraying anything around them like air fresheners and furniture polish ...deadly .

Katz, as long as you're only vaping, and not "feeding large doses" of PG to your cats, they should be just fine.

(By the way, did you know that the sun causes cancer? And you can actually drown by drinking too much water? ;))

Give the poor baby some time! You're chasing him around and pointing a strange device at him! He's probably stressed out :p

Yeah when we first adopted him he hid for like three straight days. It was weird because he'd come out at night and be in our bed to stare out the window but when I'd wake up he was out of sight.

A little bit. He might be a little fatter :p

Oooooooooh, GORGEOUS! :hubba:

Bham, it sounds like you adopted two adult cats -- bless you for that! But everyone else is right (especially since these are not kittens): they will need time to adjust to their new humans and their new surroundings. Who knows, the poor darlings may even have been neglected/abused, so it will really take time, gentleness and patience on your and Vanessa's part to get them to "relax" and become normal happy kitties.

Maine Coons are especially friendly/affectionate, so the wait will be worth it! :thumb:
