I've been seeing the mesh trend with the Marquis, I'll for sure have to give that a go. Although I'll probably be hitting you up for sure when the time comes. I know little to nothing about mesh. I had a very short stint with gennies before getting frustrated and moving along. Lol, Peko will be here tomorrow, can't wait to load it up and put it to use. Thanks again bro! I'll be messaging you as soon as it gets here to let you know it made it safe.

Sounds good! I've had mixed results with mesh but mainly I hated leaky genny tanks. I tried a mesh u wick in my nectar and it is amazing. Then tried it in the origen and veritas. I'm sold on the flavor difference and bought a flask off of Tom because nickel apparently plays very well with mesh and the dry hits off of mesh are the worst. Check out jong yeol kim on youtube. Dude's a wizard!

Slink way of adding juice and changing the battery.

That's the benefit of using the stock 6 ml bottle, but its just too little juice for me. The Vapage 9ml bottles are better and actually softer, so they're easier to squonk. The only downside is that you have to unscrew it instead of just popping the top like in that vid.

I think I figured out a fix.

First, as I got it:

Then I found an o-ring that fits the whole atomizer:

Seems to work. Just a FYI if others are having the same problem. If unscrew the top and adjust the air holes to line up to two hole or even one hole, then screw the top back on lining up the air slot with the air holes, it actually changes the airflow which it did not do by default even thought that's supposed to be how it works.

Much better than my duct tape the whole atomizer except for the air slot fix that I tried earlier. LOL

You do realize there is a Chanel machined into that top ring so that that doesn't matter right?

I didn't respond to your email because I figured you would wake up the next morning and realize the Chanel took care of this.

Sigh, I am a little slow it seems. I swear the airflow did not seem to be working correctly, but I think I finally figured out what I was doing. Kept shifting the AFC ring on the last tightening of the top screw. So I was very very careful this time and tried it again... and I repeat, I'm a little slow at times. Well the good news is that I really like this atty.

I can say that while I do not like how hot the built in drip tip gets on the Rematty, I only had a little trouble getting it built. Not overly impressed with it though. Lots of accidental hot juice on the lips. Basically it's been painful. :nah:

You need the slam cap for it. I was told it was nearly impossible to build, took less than 5 minutes. The slam cap will help with the juice in mouth syndrome btw. Slow the air down a bit....
Personally I like this a lot better than the Derringer. The Derringer always seemed to either spit or give a hot dry vape. I will be keeping at least one more of these...

It's amazing how tastes and experiences differ. To even hear "REMatty" in the same sentence as "Derringer" blows my mind. I rank the REM with the Nuppin - something I don't ever want to see or touch again in my life. Kayfun for that matter. I tried 2 more times last night. NO - life is too short to mess around with garbage. I don't know what I'll do with these, but certainly not vape them. When it works - like mentioned above, spitback against the lips. Will I slam it and use a longer DT? NO. Absurd - I don't with my Derringer, no spitback, no juice on lips, 10x the flavor.

I'm so sorry to come across as not-my-normal-happy-self. I'm out $180 and a lot of time, at a point where both are short. It really makes me angry. I want to reiterate that anger is only directed at myself and REM creations. This has absolutely nothing to do with Catfish.

I will likely write an e-mail to REM to let them know how much I detest their atty, and how much I wish it WAS a top flow Derringer. But I need to calm down first, and I'm working 15 hour days the next 2 days.

I'm starting to think I should just do an authentic run of the Manta. I had such high hopes for the Remm.
I still haven't made it to coiling the Remm.

I'm hoping mine shows up today. If it lives up to the hype, I'm in for an authentic.

I am still trying to get my hands on a slam cap, but they are sold out :(

I could find them but they would not ship to UK even though the UK was a destination option and at the time they were in stock. I'm thinking there must be a minimum order or something.

Going to be a pain as super wide bore is not for me - was hoping tom was going to get his hands on some so I could buy & get one posted from him.

Just a not if somebody gets hold of a slam cap for the REMatty and decides they don't want or need it after all look me up cause I'll take it off your hands [emoji106]
