Sloth has always been good to me, both here and in videos... I owe him that much. That and the thought of an angry sloth defies both nature and logic. While I am a defiant person, I will never attempt to defy logic.
LMAO - you just made me laugh so hard. Cheered me up. That alone made my atty troubles worth it :)

Slam cap and a normal bore drip tip for the win.... I'm not big on the stock cap either...

yeah but I can't find the slam cap in stock anywhere. thevaporlair.com has them, but when you try and check out it says they are out of stock.

Samurai bonsai ftw! Excellent flavor, tiny size, tons of airflow but also tightens up, easy to build, squonks like a champ, multiple drip tips and spit back protection. Best all round cotton based atty I've used so far.

Yeah! Mine will be here today along with the Remmy. I'll be hitting on that one by morning!

You may want to check back there from time to time. A couple days ago I was checking the site every few hours and finally grabbed one. Should be waiting on me when I return home tomorrow night, along with Bonsai and REMatty.

Finally.....FINALLY I found a atty I can get the perfect airflow I like and great flavor plus good vapor with the Manta. I'd wonder how close the Derringer is to it? My Hellboy was a bust for me and went down the drain...literately. I was rinsing the deck in the sink getting it ready for a trade and it slipped through my fingers down the drain pipe. Hoping its in the trap....

Different kettle of fish Unsure. You can tone the airflow down and get good flavor out of one, but because it's so short, I think I'm with CH when he says that you need at least some room for the air and vapor to mix before coming out the drip tip, to get a nice thick vape. The Derringers can be flavorful, but it's a hot, and kinda juicy vape. Not juicy in the thick, dense wet vape kind of way, but the juice droplets on your lips and in your mouth kind of way. I was very impressed with the Derringer when I first got it, but I've come to realize that vapes like the Marquis, Veritas, Magma, and now the Manta are more my preference.

I never found the joy of the Magma though I tried, another hot dry vape. But I agree on all the rest of them. The Marquis and the Manta hold a special place in my arsenal. The Rem is quickly moving to number three spot. For my life I can't figure out why the slam cap was optional, the stupid stock cap should be optional. I truly loathe anything that won accept a standard drip tip. I have an all titanium overdose atty that is truly awesome but it has a proprietary 16mm drip tip and top cap. It could be a contender... But with the tailpipe drip tip its moved to 3rd string and 4th string is for sale.... If you like the huge tip concept I reccomend it highly.

Chowder... The carbon fiber mini haze has my interest piqued.... Can never have too many bottom fed attys I second the pic if you have time....

I will have pics up of the black and carbon fiber black tomorrow. I will be converting as much as possible so I can focus on the derringers when they come tomorrow.

It's amazing how tastes and experiences differ. To even hear "REMatty" in the same sentence as "Derringer" blows my mind. I rank the REM with the Nuppin - something I don't ever want to see or touch again in my life. Kayfun for that matter. I tried 2 more times last night. NO - life is too short to mess around with garbage. I don't know what I'll do with these, but certainly not vape them. When it works - like mentioned above, spitback against the lips. Will I slam it and use a longer DT? NO. Absurd - I don't with my Derringer, no spitback, no juice on lips, 10x the flavor.

I'm so sorry to come across as not-my-normal-happy-self. I'm out $180 and a lot of time, at a point where both are short. It really makes me angry. I want to reiterate that anger is only directed at myself and REM creations. This has absolutely nothing to do with Catfish.

I will likely write an e-mail to REM to let them know how much I detest their atty, and how much I wish it WAS a top flow Derringer. But I need to calm down first, and I'm working 15 hour days the next 2 days.

Right on man.
I think we need a proper build vid from SuperX, show REM Creations how it's done!!

2/4 BF atties of mine are from Tom, with another (manta) on the way. Pretty sure I know who I'm getting all future atties from!
I second..........c'mon Russ........we need you!

I'm going by memory. For me it was a very flavorful atty with two issues, all the juice leaking (or condensation) out the air holes and not quite enough airflow. Oh and add a third it was flarkin' huge with an bulging afc ring. LOL
