I love you guys! And for the record I modded one of the 2 that I bought; Correctly I might add last week. I still haven't tried it however. I suppose if you haven't taken one apart and studied the Velocity you wouldn't notice the other fail. Notice there are only 4 threads where it connects with the positive post. Zero adjustability so when your bushings get a little wear and begin to recede you will have to replace them, there is no room to shim. One other issue: Avid swears by 304 stainless for everything without exception and mentioned a 1.65mm bore in the m3 pin. I wouldn't go that big without using 316 SS for fear of tearing the screw. M3 has a minor diameter of 2.256mm subtract that 1.65 and that leaves very little tensile strength to hold that huge positive "L" piece. Wall thickness is .606mm/2 or .303mm.
