I am thinking of sending in my Vertex V2 to have drilled center post put in, but I am wondering how hard it is to swap the original pin back in if I don't like it on my REO. Is it something I can do myself, I have reasonably good mechanical skills, or would I need to send it back in again to be swapped out? As far as that goes, if it is a fairly easy removal, could I just buy a drilled pin and put it in myself? I love doing my own mod work when I can ;) It's fun and satisfying stuff.

I should mention it is a nicer clone with a steel plated copper center pin and milled negative posts in case that makes a difference.

Just got my vertex and marquis...

The vertex.... Wow. I love the size of the post holes; they're not as ridiculously sized as the mephisto. I'm thoroughly surprised by how reduced the chamber actually is. Gonna build it in a bit but I have no doubt in my mind it's gonna be epic. My orings and everything have the perfect snugness too.

Chowder question on the marquis: was the Squonk hole meant to sit this far up...? I'm not sure how this can drain well without leaving a ton of juice behind

Use it, you will understand in a few vapes. If you like thick, pulpy, dense vapor that's how you want it. All of them have high holes, the second batch has 2 holes where the first were singles. If you liked the Veritas you will love the Marquis. Don't be shy with the power, anything above .35 will be a little cold

Gotcha. My grands have all been cleaned up and prepped to send it to Rob for the new 510, so I'll be using it as a dripper for a bit. I'll build it once it comes off my boiling water soak
