The V1 had a ring you could put inside the deck to make the chamber smaller...
So with the addition of the new Peko I have been able to put one of my Mephisto's back into action on one of my grands... There is just something real special about this atty. It vapes so well. Great flavor and vapor together. Definitely one of the best atty's I have purchased from Tom... Thanks bro... I think I need to order the other Peko shell to get the 2nd Mephisto into action now...
Still haven't had time to get my new one built to see how it does. Been out of town. Will work on it tomorrow [emoji4] The other one that came from an earlier small CH run works flawlessly and is currently one of my favorite BF attys.
Someone ask the difference in version one and two. The v1 had a chamber reducing ring and the v2 reduced the chamber so that the ring is no longer needed. Correct me if I'm wrong on that CH.

So what is to make you think this won't leak either? I don't get it. So far every atty with this kind of air flow, I read they leak... Why do mfg's keep putting these out like this? When will they design something like a Magma that doesn't leak???
It's time for a magma version 2 they need to raise the air hole under the coil integrate the afc ring and make the dome adjustable to raise or lower by turning the top cap..... Oh after all that's complete send it to CH/Tommy boy for final bottom feedication! Orrrrr Tom can run with it (no - clone) and sell millions! And it would be a CH original aside from naming it after me and giving me half of everything.... hahaha

I hear ya. Reviewers are saying the V doesn't have the M's leaking issues - but I take that with a grain of salt, myself. I've just learned to squonk the right amount with the M and don't take it out and about, so expect about the same with this one. I still have a place in the rotation for the M, but that's me, and I look at this as an upgrade on that.
Like you, I'm a Derringer and Mephisto fan and they get the majority of my ADV'ing done no matter the conditions.
I don't watch reviews anymore for the sheer fact that most are done right out of the box... The devices need to be tested over a few weeks to be reviewed properly. I can remember when the Magma first hit... Everybody and their brother railed about what a great atty it was, then after it went mainstream, all they could say was how badly it leaked... I am starting to see more chatter lately about the Marquis and its leaking problems lately also... Give my a more traditional AFC on my atty's ala the Mephisto anyday... Mine still haven't leaked and I've been using them for months now...
