It might help if you list which flavors and which strength/mg of each you tried.
Being a relatively new V4L customer, I've only tried about 10 flavors, mostly cartos (sometimes the juice bottle and cartos have different ingredients but I read here that that is going to change). My experience has been as follows:
I too noticed this sickly sweet perfumery taste with several flavors, all 36mg. The worst was French Pipe, which was disappointing because I actually did like the underlying pipe flavor but the perfume just made it unvapeable for me. The same was true for cappuccino and coconut: disappointments because I liked the underlying coffee flavor. I noticed it a bit with pina colada but it seemed more tolerable for some reason (Steve also gave me a free 36mg 5ml pina colada bottle that does not have this problem at all and tastes really good).
I didn't notice it with mint and menthol but I didn't like though flavors much either, but never having been a menthol analog smoker I wanted to give it a try. If you like those flavor they are a good choice. So far, the flavor that I like the best that I didn't experience this sweet perfumey top note with was Kant: I probably would not have tried it but Steve threw this carto in as a freebie and I would buy it again. I also didn't notice it with banana which has a decent spicy banana flavor.
I have three new juice flavors to try, all in 36mg 20ml bottles so I hope none of them have this problem because that's a lot of juice to vape if you don't like that weird sweet perfume taste. So I think that the moral of the story is to try different flavors and see which work for you. It would also help to find out exactly how the new flavors are changing (since the cartos and ml bottle will now have the exact same juice).
