CATs RDA HELP!!!

I'm having problem with this rda. I have 28G and 26G wire and I've tried vertical coils,(quad, triple, dual) and horizontal coil(Quad, Trip, Dual) and I can't find a point where I like the vape. Its either too hot or throat hit is too STRONG. I get about .4-.6ohm. I even tried dragon coil. What do I have to do? HELPPPPPPPPPPPP

I want cooler vape with less throat hit. DUAL coil gives me all these but no flavor. I really need help. I want to like this rda because it looks so sexy with my BRASS STINGRAY but can't vape it. HELP ME. YOU VAPE PROSSSSSSSSS.

Try wrapping your 26 gauge around a 1/8 inch (3.1750mm) drill bit about 8-9 times (for dual coils ,4 times if you want single), this will give you a resistance of about .6 ohms. Wick your set up with cotton (organic or sterile your choice). I personally use 24 guage dual coils at .3 ohms on a 1/8 inch and the juice is made by a friend at a 70/30 VG/PG mixture with 2mg nic, heat is not bad and flavor is amazing, throat hit is nominal.

EDIT: it is also very important that the air holes are directly in front of the coils.

Adding more coils will continue to make you vapor hotter. Stick to duals or a single coil if you want a cooler vape. You would probably like a build in the 0.6-0.8Ω area. Use this site: Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators and play around with your gauges until you find a dual or single coil setup that will get you in that resistance range.

Also consider dropping your nicotine level when you sub-ohm on an RDA. This will reduce the harsh throat hit.

One other thing to do with RDA's along with lower nic level go High VG or all VG juice. Also remember if you use cotton less is more. I have a cat and i just did dual coils 2.5mm ID .9 ohms on a mech. Not a lot of vapor but enough. I used 28 ga 4/5 turn. I used cellucotton and high vg juice in it. Like 80% vg i think. Will no blow clouds but it's good for my use. Also remember airflow. If you can try it on a vw that can handle it and see what wattage it will go to before getting the bad TH thing. Lastly you can try a longer ss drip tip with an insulator but only after everything else has failed. Oh I added more air holes on the inside sleeve but again that is a last resort I did it for when I want to make it a cloud machine. You take off the outer shell and vape it like that for clouds.

I never considered this for quad or 3 coils two is enough.

I think that you have a problem with setup not with RDA.
Did you try microcoil, less is more like steved says.
When you build nano mega giga turbo coil key of flavour and steam is airflow but with setup you are doing you will always got a hot steam.
