OK, now it's clear, LOL. One of the problems of no pictures. The overall idea is to use the comfort/drip style tip to make a seal for the seal. If it's still leaking after that there's got to be another way that air is getting in. Whether that is from cracks in the plastic shell or a bad seal at the metal base end is the next question.

Any bubbles, if your not actively vaping, are a sign of air infiltration.

I tried Drummers bent paper clip method for removing the inner seals and it worked like a champ. Easy out and no leaks after putting them back in. It significantly cuts cleaning time way down. Thanks Drummer!

That's as it has to be, the liquid is consumed and the volume needs to be replaced by air so sire flows in through the coil/wicks and bubbles up into the housing. If that didn't happen the liquid would eventually stop getting to the wicks, and you'd suck your eyeballs out trying to vape it, LOL.

how come I'm not a senior member? or ultra or supporting?

A - You changed your avatar, I liked Rick! (not really, I just liked the other one!)
B - It depends on the number of posts for senior or ultra
C - You gotta dig in your pocket and "subscribe" to ECF for supporting

Alright, filled CE3 is now leaking upon reaching the atomizer chamber. Trying to get it to stop by wiping the juice thats there, inhaling without it attached to the battery and turning it upside down

edit: Someone can try this if they notice it leaking. Remove the CE3 from the battery, wipe the battery post and the bottom of the CE3. Reattach it and hold the device upside down, vape it upside for a few drags. Return it right side up and remove the CE3, see if the leaking has stopped. I've tried this twice now and it seems like its helped re-establish its seal. Or something, i dunno these things are ....ed.

So far I haven't run into another issue like I described earlier...yet. I have made some other observations though.

1) Even if I feel like I've burnt all the e-juice out of the CE3 before I refill, there's always some left in the top area that doesn't come out even drawing air out of the CE3 with a syringe...Usually what this means for me is that when I refill I know that some of that juice will be pushed out into the air chamber in the middle. I basically twist a napkin up to soak up that liquid to avoid it leaking down to the mouthpiece.

2) Sometimes, for reasons I can't and don't know why, e-juice will travel down the syringe and leak out while I'll filling the CE3. At first I thought I tore another syringe hole but afterwards realized what was happening. No clue what makes this thing tick!

Either way, I have no more leaks from the syringe holes...CE3s are freaking weird.

reg - to avoid the problem of the liquid around the coil housing, flick the CE3 like a fever thermometer with the mouthpiece end "down" a few tomes before filling. That'll force the liquid down to the mouthpiece so it isn't squirting out as you fill them. If you're using the syringes that come with CE3s to fill them with, the leaking you're having there is probably from the joint between the needle and the syringe, it's a friction fit. I use a 5ml Luer Lock, a "twist lock" for the needle, syringe and have never had any leaking problems and the needle always stays on. They're really inexpensive and a long 20ga blunt needle is similarly handy and inexpensive. Plus, with a 5ml syringe, you can fill five or six before needing to reload the syringe.

I'll be sure to try that out next time I fill.

This is what I mentioned earlier.......if you just hold the CE3 horizontally and let the juice separate off one of the wick holes, it won't leak that way either. Upside down or horizontally, your leaking is coming from the wicks getting flooded. Same concept, horizontally will get you less awkward looks :)

@Awsum

A - I like Rick too but I just bought that 69 Camaro so I am being a proud poppa!
B&C - I know, I was just being a pain in the keister.

Congrats on the Camaro, I had one back in '69, my first new car. Loved it to death until somebody made an illegal left right in front of me, dual lane highway with jug handles. '69 Camaro versus '67 Imperial wasn't pretty for either one of us.

You aren't the only one who can be a keister buster LOL
