Center Pin Adjustment - The Natural

I needed to adjust mine a bit and I wanted some feedback to make sure I did it correctly.

Underneath of the head, I unscrewed the center pin then put my carto on the head while the pin was still out. I screwed the pin back in and snugged it up a bit but not too tight.

This is my first tube style mechanical mod and I wasn't sure about correctly setting the pin.

After another battery going thermal on it again, I believe this has something to do with the switch more so than the center pin.

I wouldn't twist the center pin. It's very possible there is a wire soldered to it and if you twist it too much it will break off.

Just wiggle it back and forth and pry it up if you need to raise it.

I found this. it works with the VAMO as well as any other 510 battery with a "floating" center pin

Sounds like you did it exactly right. I don't have a natural but that's my standard procedure with my mech.

To other posters in this thread: the natural has an adjustable center pin so the procedures for batteries or mods with non-adjustable center pins don't apply here.
