im a college student, and i often find myself sitting through 2 hour summer lectures wishing i could just bust it out and vape while taking notes or doing lab experiments :(

i vape a lot at home, sometimes too much. all i have atm is 36mg which is too strong really, i try cutting it with glycerine but seems less flavor. gotta find the sweet spot.

Once I get good vapor going, 18 mg seems plenty for me. At least for JC Tenn Cured.

I saw some formulas for juice. It was interesting that the more nicotione in the formulas, the less PG. Looks like the amount of vapor may be inversely proporational to amount of nicotine content. I don't have enough experience to confirm this :)

I was a pack and a half a day smoker for 30 years.

My two cents.

:) Dave

Major chainvaporer here. Just cut back to 6mg so I can keep on chainvaping. I love it. If I ever FIND an xray postion OPEN somewhere I'll probably have to cut back. I chain the 6mg and keep the 18mg for when I used to smoke...after eating, exercising (LOL, yep) waking, etc.

I do have a question for anyone that has cut down the mg...do you notice a smoother taste and less throat hit? I don't mind that but every now and then as said above I "need" that throat hit.....

hi, i am also a long time smoker (40 years, omg!!!). i have the 901 and found that the first few hits were good but then i was sucking the carts dry by the end of the first night and felt quite dissatisfied. i ordered some ejuice, got the batteries charged up and now i'm getting good hits but yes.....chain vaping! i find that i'm dripping juice into the cart more often than i thought i would and lose track of how much i'm actually "smoking". it's hard to judge, as it doesn't go out like an analog. if i'm sitting at the computer or out socializing, this thing is not out of my hands! i'm a complete newbie and this forum is helping me out a lot....lots more to learn about it than i realized! how long did you vape before you noticed your breathing getting better and or smoker's cough clearing up? cheers!

I've been a menthol smoker for about 30+ year, but I rarely smoked more than a pack a day. I haven't had an analog since I got my first m401 in February - so that's about six months now. The main thing that I've noticed is no crud in my nose or on the back of my teeth and a lot less coughing up crud. I was very strict about no smoking in my home, car or at work, but I now finding myself chain vaping with a USB kit plugged into a USB extension cord then to a USB wall socket while I sit at home and watch Tv - sort of like using a hookah!! I bought that USB bcause batteries were only lasting me about an hour at most. I have five chargers that I was rotating the batteries in. That was getting really old. I use medium strength liquid. I add 5 drops to my cartridge about every 30 minutes. I only change cartridges every 2 to three weeks, and that's usually because the "cotton" falls out of it. I've gone through about six or seven atomizers, but I've changed many of them because they started having a "burnt" taste that I don't like, but they still actually work. I can tell if I've vaped too much because I get a headache, in the old analog days I would get nauseated when I smoked too much. I've been searching for ways to clean atomizers, but it's hard to track the info down the way that this forum is setup. There are just too many places to look and very unexplanatory titles that are useless to search. I've started ordering my USB's,cartridges, atz's and eliquid directly from China because it's a lot cheaper and I've never had a problem with my orders. One vendor even emails you a photo of the order before it is sent out!

I've been trying for a while to figure out how to get that code for days since I quit smoking to appear at the end of my posts. Do you have to enter the code manually each time? Is it a signature? How in the heck do people get those to work??? I can't find a how to anywhere, but I do have the code from clicking on someone elses. If I try to put the code in my reply, I get a nasty message saying that I haven't had 15 posts yet (which surprises me a little since I think I've posted more than 15).

I tell you, for some weird reason, in the 8 hours that I have received and been smoking this PV- I have puffed on it less than I would have regular analogs. I've posted elsewhere on here that I think it helps just to have it hanging out of my mouth and in my hand without having to worry about getting smoking in my eyes or it burning down. I always felt that I had to puff more on an analog since I didn't want to waste it by letting it burn down on its own. But with this 510 manual batt, I can just sit here all day with it in my mouth, taking a puff once in a while when I feel like it. Basically it's like smoking all day, but taking less puffs.

Perhaps the next iteration of ecigs will have a built-in reset feature? After 15 good puffs it switches off for 5-10 minutes? If it dies and you know it will stay dead for a length of time would you be more likely to put it down and walk away for a while?

just a thought.

I alway have 2-3 ecigs with me so your idea wouldn't help lol.

Yeah i vape all day when ever i have chance with 12mg and below and dont have any problem with Nic-od yet. vaping for hrs is normal for me, the flavor is so good on ecigs, can't put it down.

I am a chain smoke when at work, I bought a 510 pass thru for that specific reason. I started vaping on ecopure high 2 weeks ago and I'm now using the medium 15mg. I will eventually go down to low. I do use it all day long but i have yet to have that sick feeling i used to get when i'd smoke a whole pack while drinking. I have yet to get any headaches from vaping as i used to from traditional cigs. I have also noticed that my cravings have become less and I can go longer without and not have the same withdrawls as before. I live in hawaii and when i'd fly to california it would drive me crazy. It's only a 5 hour flight but with the 2 hours you spend in non-smoking(at all) airports along with it that was 7 hours of not smoking and it was the first thing i'd do when getting off the plane was exit the airport and smoke. Now with my recent trip I was fine on the plane, waited for luggage and exited the airport before i decided to vape. I'm not sure how my cravings got less but i've noticed that it has, also my gf has told me that i'm not so edgy when i go without.

After only vaping a few days I have noticed I do puff often but its only one puff here one puff there, not a bunch of puffs in 3 min like with an analog...

You know, I was thinking about that and mentioned it elsewhere. I think that it's because we didn't want the analogs to "burn down" and we know that the PV won't!

I was kinda thinking I might 'smoke' less when I get my 'stick' but I realise now with these
there is no logical stopping point. Some times I have the odd ... (don't worry ladies I'm in the UK, it means something different here ;)) but sometimes in the evening I chain smoke, especially playing online poker.

It seems there is no 'logical' stopping point with these things, also I smoke roll-up so there is a smalll gap where I roll another one, that will also disappear.
I think though at other times I might only require a few draws and be able to put it down, you cant do that with an analogue, not unless you put it in your pocket lit :lol:

Anyhow during the day I usually just have one after a meal so I will try and keep it like that.

I gues it would be an idea for someone to make an electronic device to make it behave like a real anlogue?
Obviously you could always bypass that.

Hmm yes, it would be interesting to get some technology where it would let you know when you have had as much intake as a regular analog. I find myself vaping a little more than I did at first, probably because I am getting used to the whole thing now. I keep it in my hand a lot of the time just to have it there, but try not to puff on it too much. I'm getting to where I am sitting it down more often than usual now, though it's always in my hand when I am driving.

But that's quite a neat idea that you have there since I agree that it is hard to tell how much you are actually vaping. I guess for now that someone could time themselves. Like how I know that usually it took me roughly 7 mins to smoke an analog, so I could try to put it down after 7 mins if I wanted to.

Oh gosh, I try not to go through more than two batteries a day! I've stuck to that so far.

Yeah I'm pretty bad right now, and I'll definatly have to say the batt life of these 510's really suck big time. :p But I'm working on a few mods to help me out on that.

But at least since I've gotten the 510 it's kept me off of analogs so that is a good thing. :D
