I am real new but.... have some chem background. I am cutting J.C. 24mg with glycerine this glycerine is really thick (Wilton). I was going to dilute w/filtered water and then I thought..... why not brandy/water mix? (Brandy makes a lot of things taste better)
So... I now have a Kona/Original tobacco/Glycerine/Brandy/water mix that is cut down to about 8mg. A lot of vapor, wonderful taste, good throat, and now I can "chain" a little more.
I will let y'all know if it messes w/atomizer.... but so far I just like the smokey part and need the nic cut down so I can vape more often.

Count me in, all the time, puffing puffing....somebody said the other day what is that thing you're sucking on, I said it's an idiot repellant.
Somebody on ECF said to say that, I guess the person who asked me didn't read that thread....
In all seriousness, I have a sneaky feeling that the amount of nicotine we are actually absorbing is not as much as we think we are..."KATE" had a report posted a couple or three days ago about a study done, I wish I had saved it, can't find it now. see if you can search, or ask her for repeat.
And, signal number two for me is constant hunger. all the time want to eat something!! (Can't though, too busy puffing)
So many vaping so much, I think we need more info, chemist type.
Nice to know we're a group, eh?

I vape all day long! I use a very low nic concentration and vape all the time. I really enjoy it! a lot more than analogs!

I use a good 5ml per day without any problem.

Before you switched to e-cigs, what type of analog cigarettes did you smoke? I'm interested to know what strength you were shifting from. Also, you said you use a "very low nic concentration." How low?

Tescela:

I use to smoke Marlboro Red (I think it has the same name there?) analogs.. from 2 to 3 packs per day.

Ok, I got 12mg liquid and I misc it some times 50 nic/50 VG or 60nic /40 VG. Now I do lower the thickness of the VG 90/10 with distiled water.

So I am vaping around 6 to 7 mg eliquid. I like the sweetness of the VG..

Chain-vaping is too much for me to keep track of by counting puffs. I control my intake by controlling the amount of juice. I have two mini bottles on hand for refills. I only put 2-3 mL in each bottle. One is very low-nicotine content for constant vaping. The other bottle has medium or high nicotine content. I always look at how much of the med-high juice I'm using.

I do the same. The low nic juice, I just vape nonstop till bedtime, then a high nic dose before bed.

I am a serious chain smoker, at home I can easily go through a pack just sitting in front of the computer reading forums on random things, ran across this forum and ordered an 801, should be here next week, hopeing to get rid of the cancer sticks, eventually. Not to woried about the chain smoking aspect of it, heck i light one off of the other constantly. Kinda worried that I orded too high a nic content for the procces.

After being a real chain smoker for over 40 years, it would be impossible to vape more than I was smoking except for content. I switch back and forth from medium to light levels, and actually think I vape a little less than I was smoking.

Welcome, ynotagain! It is always a pleasure to meet an analog chain smoker that has made the conversion to 100% electronic.

After all the hell of trying to quit with willpower and Big Pharma's "smoking cessation aids," isn't it is so ridiculously easy to quit smoking (analogs) with e-cigarettes?!! :thumb:

In a SANE world (one not corrupted by Big Pharma and Big Tobacco money), the government would be running Public Service Announcements on Prime Time television suggesting smokers consider switching to e-cigarettes so they can again experience the joy of breathing easy and vaping anywhere they want. :)

Some of us show no restraint with vaping. I used to smoke at least a pack of pallmalls a day (after cutting back) and had no difficulty switching to vaping. The only real problem I had initially was keeping a charged battery. USB passthroughs and the stick really corrected that major nusiance. I have no idea how much nic I vape but I know it's constant. 81 days now since my last smoke and the benefits I feel are worth the expense of ejuice and hardware. Soon I'm going to sit down and do a cost analysis without including startup cost (it was an investment after all and I'm afraid that figure would really scare me). Happy vaping! Once you go digital you'll never go back.

There again I would have to say the manual will let you better controll the heat. With the KB I would notice the heat build up especially if the cart was dry or not wicking and would often refresh the filler with fluval. With the stick I have not really noticed the atomizer getting that warm even with chainvaping. There again though I am using the Janty supplied new atomizer. The filler's ability to wick also seems to affect the draw even though the air goes around the cart instead of through it.
