Is it possible or due to the nature of the tank you cant? I only get 2-3 vapes off my F16 with prepunched Boge Carto before i have to take 3-4 dry vapes in order to suck more juice into carto. I am using Boba's Bounty which is 100% VG. Just wondering if i need to make bigger holes or possible slot them. Others experiences would be helpful!

Thanks and happy vaping!

You shouldn't need to "suck juice into the tank." That's the point of cartotanks - to be easy to use.

Make your holes bigger, slot your cartos, or, if you're adventurous, add 2-3 drops of distilled water to the liquid and shake it, just to thin it out a bit. If you don't want to use water, use PG.

I've been using the carto punch tool from Discount Vapers on Smoktech replacement cartos (making the pre-existing hole slightly bigger, and punching a new hole on the opposite side -- not too big, either). It took me practicing on quite a few dead cartos before I figured out how much pressure to use and not warp the carto.

Thus far I've had no leaking or dry hit issues... it's been smooth sailing.

Good to hear rocket! I tried the Drexel on a bad one today to slot it, didn't care for it. I have one left that will suffice until I got my carto's and punch. My pre-punched F17 cartos do have two holes in em, they aren't big enough for 100% vg I guess.

Will return to this post later in the week once I I have supplies!

I may be a lone wolf here. I find Boba's to be a very troubling juice for a cartotank. Not only is the VG notoriously thick, but it has an unusual amount of particulate matter in it which doesn't become vaporized and therefore accumulates in the tank and quickly clogs the wicking material in both cartotanks and clearotanks.

I didn't find multiple holes punched or slotting to help, nor diluting the juice by 10% with water. I still needed to change out the cartos about every 1-2 days.

If you vape for Boba's (all day vape?), I recommend some type of wickless delivery device. I made recommendations in this similar thread yesterday:

It's weird, Baditude. I have no idea why I've not had any problems with Boba's and carto tanks.......

...... But now that I've spoken those words (or at least typed them) into existence, the Cosmic Joker is sure to deal me a bad hand! Murphey's Law and all! ;-)
I would say that you've been extremely lucky, or your bottle of Boba's is a thinner mix. I see complaints of Boba's not wicking adequately or ruining cartos on this forum on a weekly basis.

Speaking of all VG, has anyone had issues with Vaperite not wicking? I remember purchasing from them during the first week of vaping. I forget everything about the juices except I liked them. I've been stalking their page lately, trying to figure out what I want.

I haven't come across any threads or complaints about Vaperite. Baditude, I think you mentioned ordering juice from them... Any issues thus far with their all-VG and carto tanks?

I get two flavors from Vaperite on a regular basis. Kona Cream and Double Espresso. I just checked the bottles and the ones I have are a 70/30 pg/vg mix. I believe the reason I like these is the fact that they are all-natural, all-organic flavorings. All the vendors that I buy juice from in the last few months use this flavoring method. No artificial, chemical, or perfumey taste to the liquids.

I've ordered Virgin Vapors' Kona Velvet Milkshake in both 100% vg and a 50/50 ratio and vaped them side by side, and could not determine any difference in taste, vapor, or wicking. I ordered two bottles specifically to determine if I preferred one over the other. Final analysis: doesn't matter to me.

Does AVE do that occasionally?

I have no idea. I've only ordered it once, and still have the original bottle. Not one of my favorite flavors. I only pull it out once every month or so just to remind myself again that I don't like honey graham crackers flavor.

It probably depends upon their in-house quality control. I've seen some customer's complain of a difference of flavor quality bottle to bottle. Larger bottles tasting different from smaller bottles. Boba's is a pretty unique flavor and e-liquid. It tastes different to almost everyone who tries it. And it can appear to change in flavor almost day to day, too. I'm sure that it doesn't change chemically, but it must have some quality to it that is susceptible to whatever changes are going on in our paleatte...foods or liquids that we recently had, for instance.
