I scored a chalice III on the classies but i didnt received extra screw nuts with it. I'm really enjoying it but i fear loosing the micro nuts when rebuilding it. So the million dollar question is where can i get a

VapinArt sells them for $6 EACH....when they're in stock. Eeeek! Just be careful not to lose them. :)

Ok I built it, I'm vaping it, but in all honesty I have to say it - the screws are without question the worst I have ever seen. I knew I wouldn't like them but they are much worse than expected. Imo this atty would be a hundred times better with post holes so I could replace these things with grubs. It may be a deal breaker in the end for me.

One is already stripped and I was being careful.

I love the Chalice III....totally. But I agree with you that the screws take a bit of getting used to....and I think that $6 each is ridiculous. I learned (the hard way) on the first day NOT to unscrew them all the way. It took me forever to get one back on after I took it off. Ugh!!! I immediately sent off for a couple of spares. I figure if I have the spares, I'll never need them.

:2c:Considering the cost of a Chalice I don't find the cost of the replacement screws to be out of line. Shouldn't really matter anyway if you are a butter fingers... your Chalice won't be of much use if you lose a screw and don't have a replacement for it. If you can't afford the screw you can't afford a Chalice. That's called pay to play, common with a lot of things in life, not just with the Chalice.

I absolutely love my chalice III but have to agree that the posts are a let down.
Post holes with a screw, would've made the chalice III the ultimate sqounk topper to date imo.
I wish the MarkBugs crew would make replacement posts that have the post hole and screw configuration. Now that I'd pay $6-$10 dollars for.

Just got my chalice III in! Thanks rob! This is a beautiful atty! About to build it...will give my thoughts after a days use :)

Can't wait to hear your opinion/review and how you build on it. For my new Reo Mini 14500, and as new to building I run a simple contact coil, on a coil master, 2mm, 6 wraps 29 gauge kanthal, approx. 1.1 ohms. Have not gone beyond that as of now. Replace the Kogendo cotton every few days, and build again when I'm bored! Enjoy.

They have not had them in a month of me checking. I don't have a problem paying $6/each. The issue is lack of availability, and for the $140 I paid, it would have been NICE, to include a spare set of nuts.

As a newbie builder, holes in the post would be great, but those posts are tiny, maybe that's why there are none? I still love it, it's my only rba, I don't count the one in my Egrip, as that only works in that all in one mod, and it's not a great device, leaks all the time.

After more days I've come to love the Chalice III clone. I built tiny coils - 1.5mm w/30 gauge - and was stingy with the cotton. I change the wicking daily and how much I use and how I place it in the well affects how well the liquid feeds the coil. Perfect step up from Aero and .357s.

Building in such a tiny space isn't terrible but not having easy access to replacement parts is the one thing that gives me pause re the authentic. I've dropped & lost screws enough to know it's going to happen...just a matter of time.

I honestly do not like this atomizer. It was worth trying but not worth using IMHO. to begin with the screws are atrocious IMO - inexcusable terrible for such an otherwise high quality atty. Granted I am not used to building on a 14mm deck but my difficulties with it are minor and not why I say this.

Second, I am not finding the value in using this vs say a manta, which is a very high quality atty also, but with an incredible build deck and flavor that's almost rivaling what I get from the chalice. Not to mention a much more versatile atty.

I see why you guys love it so much, but for me at best it is a backup. I do intend to continue raising my ohms and lowering my airflow for the sake of better battery life, less juice consumption etc - for me, the chalice does not seem to be the answer.

Eta I'm not done fiddling with it yet but it is getting old fast.

BLASPHEMER!!!

Like any atty, some people just aren't going to love the Chalice, or just prefer something else. Thank goodness we have a plethora of different options to choose from!!!

I will say, if you do get the build you're looking for inn the Chalice, it'll be extremely rewarding ;)

The vape is good. I'll say that all day long. Possibly the best flavor I've had but not in any way worth it to me. This'll hit the classies in a day or 2 ;)

If I hadn't already spent a fortune on the Chalice II & III, I would buy them from ya. I haven't used any other atties on my REO's in 7 months. I feel like my RM2, RM3 & RM4 hate me

With 6 in hand I'm on my way to having nothing but Chalice and Nuppin' on most if not all my Reos. I'm not a fan of big atty's on Reos, never have been and none of mine get used, some never have been. A bunch of RM2's, an RM3 and couple of 2013 Cyclones were good starter atty's for me, but I still have an unused RM3 dual I've never even bothered with and seldom use the Woodvil's with the Cyclones on them. Will have to keep the Cyclones as long as I keep those two Woodvil's they reside on though. Some day a lot of bf atty's will make their way to the classifieds.

Sloth... I just bought 2 more Mini 1.0's this AM with extras or I'd be in the hunt for your Chalice III. They will be running Chalice III's that are already on hand on 2.1's. Might mean using some of the RM's again on the Mini 2.1's if I even use them now (or moving the Cyclones over to a couple of them). I do like the RM2's and RM3's, just have better now.

I hear ya brother. I see the chalice as king of its class. And I understand for purist flavor chasers it being pretty ultimate. I also understand not liking big attys on reos. I totally see the chalice as bring king for those people. Rm2s etc are low quality clones - low, especially in comparison to a chalice.

I am increasingly a flavor chaser but equally important to me are several other factors and the chalice falls remarkably short on those fronts. I may not list it for sale because I'm lazy and don't like dealing with classys. But if anyone out there ever wants to approach me about it, it's a deal :)

We all might march to a different drummer... nothing wrong at all with that. I'm a flavor junky, want lots of flavor rich vapor that doesn't scorch the paint off the wall (or my throat). FVT in that order is my kind of vaping... I don't need/want nicotine or heavy TH. Any atty might produce great flavor with the right build in it, but 'getting there' is easier in a small atty for me. And many of the small atty's produce lots of flavor rich vapor with easy builds. I try to KISS now days, my days of endless wild builds left behind. In part because my eyes don't see small well anymore, and because few of the wild builds were an improvement over simple builds for my uses. I also have always had a problem with atty's that don't fit the mod... how it was in the tube mods days, how it is now with the Reos (especially the metal Reos). I wouldn't have a problem with a 22mm atty on the new Woodvil's. But the Nuppin's just get it done so well for me on them, and I don't really like any of the 22mm atty's I have. If I get a couple more Mech Woodvil's I may try a couple of Rob's RM 8 black Derringer clones on them... since scoring anymore Nuppin's is hit or miss at best (especially a couple of black V2's). Would have already bought them if Brad had ever answered any of my email inquiries about chuff caps for them.

If you score more mech Woodvil's and are looking for 22mm attys, I highly recommend a manta (if you can get one). It's 22mm, but the chamber is about 15mm. I'm running a single standard 26g coil at an ohm in a manta. The airflow closed off to about twice the chalice wide open. The flavor rocks. Derringers won't be that great IMO unless built to .5 or below (as with anything ymmv, some people love derringers at an ohm but they're typically using twisted wire)

Sorry the Chalice didn't work out for you, Sloth. I never had any problems with the screws at all (but then again, I don't mind building the Nuppin)
Weird thing- I actually got the best flavor out of a Derringer (twisted 29g duals at about .5ohms) Just leaked like crazy and the orings weren't right. For me, that was a deal breaker. The stumpy is a similar vape, but a LOT less leaking, and an extraordinarily easy build. Damn good flavor even in single coil.
I just could not get down with the Manta at all...
Been a while since I've built the chalice... triple twisted 30g coil has lasted over a month.
Thankfully, we are living a great time to be bottom feeders!
