Too funny!!

Not so funny, my parents are in their 80s although you wouldn't know it by looking at them. They travel constantly and started a cruise of the British Isles and other ports on the 9th. Iceland was one of the ports, so they are right over in the heart of it. I spoke to the cruise lines and all is fine, they are making all other ports and are on schedule. I'll just feel better when they are home again on the 27th. They're coming out from Florida to Texas on May 6th for a couple days, they never stop going LOL

Thanks for making me spray my Dr. Pepper on that one lmao

Yes, the Chameleon is an adaptable creature, but not the quickest moving thing ;)

Glad to see you got your witch avatar back :) My grandmother was like that too, travelling the world very late into life. Doing pretty adventurous trips too, not physical, but say going to China long before it was common for Americans to go there.

Oh, that's right! An erupting volcano is a difficult thing for a migratory Lizard to navigate ;)
LOL

As the lost and weary Lizard extends his gaze over the disaster in sadness. He thinks back to what was a wonderful site and reminisces back to when he first set sights on the beautiful land. A small glimmer of light catches his eye. He quickly turns to witness the vessel that promised salvation and safety drifts back on to it's course out to sea. Shocked, the lonely Lizard feels overwhelmed with anxiety.Series upon series of questions soar through his mind. How will he ever get to the land known as America? What kind of ventures and dangers lie ahead of him deep in the unknown. Only one word comes to the frightened Lizard's mind. "dammit".

Thanks Uncle Ike...Can't Wait!!!
Haha I was thinking of Problem child! I youtubed Gilbert and got stuck into a frenzy of searches and stumbled onto the infamous Aristocrats joke. If you value your membership on Ecf, Do NOT post it! LOL

Ha... but that lizard is one tenacious creature! Surveying the ominously dark waters only firmed his resolve to make the dangerous crossing. Come hell or high water... "dammit" :)
It surely is! Guess who came home this morning with the flag of victory wrapped around itself, shivering with adrenaline and a dangerous spark of survival in it's eye.
