I bought the Chameleon and still cannot use it. I first thought it was my batteries for they were a little old. I ordered new batteries from Iken and still it will not vape. It is not the atomizer for it works on others. I am using the 901 adapter. I have not tried it with a 510 or 801 yet. My favorite is the 901. The atomizer will not heat or anything. Any ideas?

Just checking, if you are vaping 3.6, are you sure the battery isn't a 3 volt? That will not work.

Lets trouble shoot. Do you have a multi-meter by any chance? If yes, lets go by Step 1a, if not lets move on to Step 1B.
Step 1A Can you please remove the adapter and it's sector so that the top of your chameleon looks like this. I know this isn't the prettiest of pictures because it's mine and I preformed all my testing and what have you on it.
Ok Then take your muiltmeter and set the dial to 20 Volts, place the Red positive onto the brass and the black negative on the outside aluminum on the top, outside of the washer. Activate the button and see if your getting a reading.
Step 1B, please try another adapter with a known working atomizer and see if your getting anything. These setps can determine if your adapter is simply not making the proper connection or if it's all of them.

Iken I do not have a muiltmeter and will have to do step 2. I am at work now and only have the 901's with me. I will try that after work and see if it works. Sorry for the delay after posting last nite . I got real tired and went to bed.

Ok, If the 801 works, that means there's power going through. Thats a good start w/out a meter. Now, for the 901 not making contact, there could be liquid trapped in there and if it's e-liquid, it's not going to evaporate on it's own in a small amount of time.
Lets break out our tools of choices.
2A Dismantle adapter, sounds mean but really it's just 3 single pieces
2B Send it back for replacement or repair.
2A With adapter in hand and a soft tool such as this fairly thick plastic tipped syringe. You can literally push out the center pin by photo displayed below.
Once out there is one piece, the plastic insert. This will need to come out as well.
Once items are out, you are allowed to use any type of brass cleaner or just plain water to give a nice rinse and dry.
2B Skip the rest and just send it back for inspection and then I can either return the adapter in perfect working condition or if it fails, I'll be more than happy to send you a brand new replacement. o wish I had more options for you, but these are the only ones that can offer a solution and satisfaction.

Iken I took the adapter apart like you said and cleaned it. Did not see any thing on it. I put it all back together and now it is alive. My 901 now works! Thank you so much. For such a small unit it works great. I wanted it,so I could vape with cartomizers.

I like 5v and the cartomizers at 3.6 or 3.7. I have been busy loading my blank carts with juice. Loaded like 20 different flavors.The Chameleon works great with the carts. Lots of vapor and taste.

Nice to see all the options being used, these really do enhance the cartomizer experience. I can't say enough about this device its a workhorse and durable. One of the best units out there in my opinion.
Lol Didn't you try the new re-fill method yet? It seriously cuts down a significant amount of time. oo you don't like carty's on high voltage!? soooooo nice. I have blank cartomizer's coming in all types of colors so that we can have our own personal identification system with knowing which cart has which flavor.

That is how I lost my first Carto and 901HV! Guess I have to let the cat outta the bag. They both were awesome till the burial. Wasn't a life of more than 2 hours. It was so good I pushed it too far!!!!
They don't last long ok but with an old one that's been refilled a lot and not so good anymore anyway, you're right it sure is fun.
The burial is always the saddest of them all. My most favorite atom in the world needed a proper funeral.
