Since my wife leaves all the question asking to me I will be asking this one on her behalf. She of course vapes like I do. She is not into it as a hobby but just to keep her off the stinkies. She has her favorite liquids and I keep her supplied in them. Most of them are a very light color. She has an acai berry she found at a local shop she loves and a Swedish fish flavor from Mbv. I keep her clearos clean and make sure she has clean coils. Follow up with her to make sure she is not getting a burnt taste and that everything she has is working well and she has no issues. So here is the deal. I will clean everything up but in new or clean coils for her. She uses an entire eVod system. Clearo and battery. She loves it. Within an hour or so her liquids will turn black as tar. She says the flavor does not Change just the color. This only happenes to her favorites. What on earth is she doing. I know she chain vapes those flavors. Is that what is causing them to turn colors like that?. Not a one of liquids has done that.

Yeah, I'm part Lenape (Delaware Indian) and since vaping I've turned....

Wait!. You mean something else?

Okay, it used to happen to me but more of a dark brown than black. I could be for a variety of reasons including the juice itself, not getting those coils as clean as you thought or the wicks holding some of the previous coloring deep inside. It doesn't happen nearly as much now that I use a higher PG.

I think that might be part of my problem. I'm using 50/50 and it's a huge pain.

I believe the heat from the atomizer (heating coil) causes some e-liquids to darken, possibly from the sugars breaking down chemically from the heat. Once exposed to oxygen, nicotine can also turn to a darker color. Vapors who just continue to refill their tanks without emptying them first will find their e-liquids to become darker over time. As long as your wife doesn't notice a decrease in flavor, there shouldn't be any problem to vape this.

Ok cause I will put a brand new coil in there and it still happenes. Ya she was just worried about the color change. She says the flavor is just fine. I just don't want her getting sick or anything.

Very few e-liquids don't change. I have a couple- pineapple without sweetner, lemon. That even gets a slightly yellow tinge. Most do darken and change color, particularly with certain flavorings and sweetners.

I have one juice that turns black after just 1 tank. I vape it through an eVod. It is a sweet bakery type juice. I have to change the coil after 2 or 3 fills. I don't think you have anything to be concerned about as long as she is still enjoying the flavor. Looks bad, but isn't bad. :)
