Charger for Elite 808

My wife loves her Elite but the charger has started to go wonky. I think a wire is loose because it has to be set up just right for the lights to come on and the battery to start charging. I ordered a new kit for her but if this ever happens again are there any other chargers that would be compatable with the Elite you know like the way you need to charge an iGo battery with an iGo charger. Thanks in advance for any input on this.

if you look at the charger, the part that connects to the battery (in case it's a wall charger w/ adapter) its will have an input rating and as output rating. It's the output rating that you need to match

Any USB charger with KR8 threading that is rated 4.2V @ 300ma will work.

Elite 808 is a 300mA charger so you can use an e-cig charger 300mA or less. I have been charging a KR808 Battery for over a year w/ 510 charger & adapter.

Thanks Guys. It's good to know I probably won't hurt anything. After her new kit gets here I'll try a different charger on her old batteries and see how it goes.

is the charger part of the adapter? if not, maybe its the adapter and not the charger.
