Are you absolutely dead set on a cigarette-like PV?

What do you mean by "cigarette-type?" Both the Go-Go and the Vgo (the two which were at the top of my list) are Ego-type PVs, fat batts. I am dead set on a PV that I can carry in my pocket. I also want one that's at least equivalent to the Elite 808 as far as vapor production and flavor. And the higher the mah, the better.

Well if your budget is not extremely tight I've had excellent luck with my megalodon. With an 18350 battery it is very pocket friendly.

my PV has to fit in my pocket when I'm playing golf
Catmom: I know this is an old thread, but if you're still monitoring . . .

Can you really swing a golf club with a PV in your pocket? My ball flight is usually a light draw, but whenever I've got a PV in my pocket, my draw turns into a slice ;). I'm kidding of course, but having the PV in my pocket does bug me, so I put the PV into the small pocket at the top of my golf bag when I get the club out, then take it back out when I put the club back in. If your bag doesn't have a pocket in a PV-friendly place, then maybe it's time for a new bag ;). There's many reasons for getting a new bag or a new club, and accommodating a PV definitely qualifies as one that is reasonable. In my book, anyway.

More on topic: I carry the shorter IGO battery and it lasts the entire round (although I usually have to change the carto at least once). With a standard KR808 carto (not the IGO carto), it's a little under 5 inches. When I want to work the ball left to right, I put it in my pocket. I've also carried a GoGo at times so that I don't have to change the carto, but like you, I have 73,824 KR808 cartos, so I usually carry the IGO.

ROFL! Seriously, I can swing just fine with my PV in my pocket. I accidentally birdied the 17th hole Saturday. Probably because my PV was in my pocket :2cool:

I did get a GoGo, and the only problem I have is not being able to use drip tips when I'm playing golf because they make the overall length of the PV awkward. The tips come off in my pocket. With the regular tips on the carto, no problem.

I agree that accommodating a PV is an excellent reason to get a new bag! But I've gotten so used to always having my PV in my pocket, I don't know if I could get used to having to "reach" for it. Old dogs and new tricks, etc.
