I got a box of these tanks to try on my Igo and vgo batteries.

ELITE 808 CLEAR AND EASY TANKS

and I'm sorry to say they are not working well at all. Low vapor production and a nasty plasticky taste. It's possibly because I'm using them on different batteries than they are made for. They might work really well on Elite batteries. I really wanted to like them too. :( They are very well made.

Anyone else try these? Am I doing something wrong? How do they work on Elite batteries?

I got one, as a freebe I guess, in my Elite kit a few weeks ago and so far it works great. Haven't tried it on another battery but good vapor production and a slightly better flavor than the filler carts so yours may be due to using it on a different battery. I'm kind of a nut about using same brand cartos and batteries with 808s and seem to never have issues.

i have had mine for a few weeks now, i love them. better flavor and vp as the regular elite cartos. problem you may be having is that when you replace the cap, the carto will leak initially through the wick about a drop. i think a positive pressure is created in the carto where the juice is when putting the cap on. after use when the pressure is equalized it doesnt leak anymore. when this happens that drop floods the coil and you get little vapor at all.

just blow it out and make sure it is clear.

i will be using these exclusively for the foreseeable future.

edit: using elite 808 batt too

GREAT advice! I also had a freebie clear and easy elite in my recent order and didn't quite know what to do with it... LOL. Once I figured out that you pop the top off and fill it, I did that. First few draws yielded little to no vapor and a bubbling sound. I did what you suggested and now it's vaping like a champ! Thanks!

Question? Is the plastic like taste almost similar to that aerosol spray taste? Like you spray something aerosol and breathe it in accidentally after spraying it? That's what I'm getting. I happened to notice it the last couple of days. Tasted great before. I had the leak a couple times. Leaked onto my batts. Thought I cleaned them pretty well but I looked today and seem to have what looks like mold in the battery. Do you have the same thing?

Using the elite battery as well.

Yeah that describes the taste pretty well. I tried a rubber mouthpiece and it didn't help, so the taste is internal. I might try washing it out really good and see if that helps. Other people seem to like these cartos and none else has much mentioned the taste.

I haven't used it enough to notice any leaks. But I heard it can "pressurize" the juice chamber when you put the mouthpiece on. This forces juice out the bottom. Should probably blow it out good before screwing it on a battery.

mold in the battery? or the carto itself? That can't be good. I could see mold growing in the carto if you leave water moisture inside and seal it up with the mouthpiece. Never happened to me on any clear cartos I use. I'd throw it away.

Mold on the battery where the juice leaked down into it. Carto is clean.

This carto was awesome when I first tried it and a few days after, but now it's giving me that taste. Bleh.

That is probably just black goo. When juice leaks onto the battery it will evaporate and leave behind black goo. You need to clean any battery occasionally. Wipe the thread and use a napkin wrapped toothpick to clean out the connection on both the battery and cartomizer. An alcohol swab works nicely but any paper tissue will work too.

I really like Vermillion River juices. They have a flavor called Kentucky Premium Blend, sort of a tobacco with a woody/nutty taste. They use that as a base for other blends. Vanilla, maple, apple, peach, etc. They are all good. Try their sample package. It's about all I use except for some DIY black and blue berries.

I did have some problems with their fruit flavors in a fluxomizer. It got kind of thick and dark toward the end of a carto, probably because of the wicking action of the fluxomiozer. Worked fine in other cartos.

I love these but really get that burnt taste.. I have emailed them and they said don't use them on a full battery charge.. use a certo and let it go down a bit.. Then I get it when I used certain juices like my favorite Backwoods Brew cappacinno (sp?).. I just put some Caramel Cap from Vape-a-licious and have had no problems at all.. Thats when I love them. They are convenient.. Have good throat hit and plenty of vapor. You have to experiment with juices.. Think God they can just be rinsed and reused and I have learned to just put a little juice in there to experiment as to not waste juice. Some with artificial sweeteners don't work.. All of the Vape-a-Licious juices seem to work and they have some great flavors.. D's All day.. Caramel Cap.. Gold Rush.. Tons of peole love Vape Heaven But I hated it. So this has been my experience. Hope it help.. Let me know your findings as well
thanks
