It's apparently 4.2V output, so should only be used with 3.6/3.7V batteries.

I'm kind of leery about a really low cost charger that claims universal compatibility with NiMH, NiCad, Li-ion, but that's just me. Apparently this is the "new" version of the charger which includes 1.2V charging output for NiMH and NiCad. I did a quick look over on candlepowerforums and laserpointerforums, wasn't finding anything useful on it.
