can you charge the 808's with a 510 charger? im looking at buying a battery from v4l. i already have cartos but so i dont want to buy a starter kit if i dont need it

No. The KR808 and 510 have totally different threads. A 901 charger will work.

You can also get a 510 battery to carto adapter from Altsmoke or Good Prophets.

yea ive been thinking about an adapter but the v4l batts are sooo nice looking. so id need a new charger for either an 808 or a 901.
