Charging eGo batteries?

Just wondering if it is bad for battery life to charge an eGo battery before it is fully depleted?

Not bad at all. In fact, it is better to NOT fully deplete a lithium battery before recharging.

No. I don't believe so sometimes it's good, but doubt neccisary

No, it is absolutely not bad to recharge Ego batteries before they are fully depleted.

It is easier on the batts to recharge them after partial discharge and should even extend the overall life of the battery.

You actually should do that. Also, you should always recharge them fully.

I have 2 eGo 1000ma batteries that I charge on my 510 charger. Had my eGo charger die months ago so I have been using the 510 charger for months. No problems so far.....I do not use the eGo batteries much tho....

My charger does not seem to get hot at all. And it still seems to function just fine. It may just take longer to charge the battery.

I just don't use these batteries enuff to justify buying another charger. Also, these batteries are over a year old so I wonder how much longer they will last. I use my Provari most of the time now.
