[Bogey]

Hi all!

I was wondering if you all might post how your charging your batts, especially multiple batts at one time. I have one of these:

I was hoping to maybe buy 3 more usb chargers so I could charge 4 batts at once, but honestly I am not sure if the output specs would work.

They list:

Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz, 0.3A Max
Volt 1.5V --- 500 mA
Volt 2.5V --- 500 mA
Volt 3.5V --- 500 mA
Volt 4.5V --- 500 mA

I did some searching but was hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction, or maybe knows what the output specs should be. I was really hoping this might work since I already have it.

great question bogey -- hopefully one of the usual suspects will be able to answer you intelligently....I just use regular v4l and other 808 adapters all over the place. Haven't tried a multi charger yet.

Thanks JB, I tried a quick search but am hyper efficient (read lazy) so I just thought I would post. I only have one usb charger right now, so I thought I would ask before buying 3 more. Don't get me wrong, I will buy three more, just not all at once.

it may not be the best thing to use, but I had a bunch of 510 AC chargers from starter kits. I use them for my v4l batteries with a $1 510-808 adapter from goodprophets...

Bogey sir you'd need the 4.5v at 500ma in order for it to work with V4L chargers... They're rated at 4.2, 300ma if I'm not mistaken...

This is what I use Bogey....think I'm gonna jump to the 7 port one though.....

It is not powered via computer, but wall plug and I have my pt on the top and have charged 2 batts while using the pt

Based on advice from all of you, I picked up a 4 Port USB Home Charger by Scosche - 2 Amp total output: 500 mA x 4 at Wal-Mart. $20. It's working very well!

Okey dokey Bogey !! LOL, I likin da sound a dat .anyways, I'm postin this here pic of my charging box. I had chargers all ova da place n hated it. A mess I tell you just a mess ! Soooo, I had ta do sumpin bout it. I found an old silverware gift box at a yard sale yup, I'm cheap ! anyways, this pic is the box I converted inta a batt charging box. When I'm done chargin da batts I can close it up neat n sweet I drilled a hole in the bottom back portion of the wood so the cords from my usb hubs could exit out the back. I attached a power strip onto the back. It's held by screws and easily slides off for when I wanna put it inside for traveling. Makes a nice neat lil package dat way. I bought a 10-port usb hub offa amazon & have a 4-port usb hub from staples. Both have plugs for wall outlets. (not just for usb connections, so I don't use my puter to run it) The box has 12 felt slots fer the spoons I guess it was. But they nicely hold the usb chargers from V4L in them. The bottom of the box holds the hubs, and my solar chargers. (I can easily keep them charged by usb & plug without the sun from here) So everything that charges is all in one place. and no more monkey tears bout it I paid a buck fer da box & buy an extra usb charger with every order so I can fill da box wit them. Amazingly all the ports DO work at the same time and the batts are ALL charged just as if they were used seperately. Dat makes me a happy camper. So iffin I'm out all day and use several batts, I just put em all on charge at once. So dere ya have my system Bogey.
