Charging Issues with the KR808D-1

Hey all,
I just got my new XL KR808 kit from V4L (YAY!). It came with two 380mah batts and a usb passthrough, along with a bunch of extras.

I'm currently riding the vapor cloud on 24mg cherry black... Aaahhhhh.

BUT -- I went to charge one of my batts on the supplied usb charger. An hour later I tried to use it and it won't vape. It blinks 3 times when I plug it in but no light on the charger... same thing on the wall charger, it just stays green.

Does this mean my batt is fried? Or am I doing something wrong?

Any help is appreciated. I want to try to fix it myself before I contact V4L.

Id contact v4l. Seems to me that your battery is no good. I have batteries from bloog and v4l and have never experienced that issue.

I had a similar problem and the solution was to adjust or raise the batt connector carefully with a paper clip. There are videos. It wasn't making the best connection, but since it's new this might not help, I was overtightening the carto on the battery. If you contact v4l they will probably hook u up.Good luck

Manual or auto? Did you buy from the bargin bin or diamond/stealth series? Does the LED light up when you draw? What kind of cartos are you using?

don't forget to try cleaning the threads. i've had brand new batteries i had to clean after only using them once or twice. they were just filthy. go figure. i also clean my chargers regularly. a little alcohol on a q-tip does the trick. i don't use it dripping wet. i kinda dab it off on a paper towel first.

That happend to me too. I just used the other battery and tried the one that messed up a little later and it was fine. I think I might have tighted it too much. But works fine now. BTW, how are those XL batteries? Gives a BUNCH of vapor, huh. Kinda like a passthrough?
