Hi
I bought a very cheap kit from a UK supplier who advertises on here, though is not on the Forum Suppliers listing - came with mains charger, usb charger, atty, bat, carry case and 25 carts - all for £25 - bargain I thought.
However, from the outset, the charger gear was very intermittent and extremely cheaply made. After 7 days use, during which time the bat life went from 1 charge per cart, to about 4 charges per cart and then stopped charging altogether. After several emails, I finally got someone on their web chat who gave me the returns address and I duly sent back the suspect items (ie everything except the carts and carry case) recorded delivery.
Over the next 3 weeks I sent chase emails (after checking that the return had been delivered back to them) phone calls and their web site chat - all to no avail. So eventually I escalated it to PayPal and after a few days, the supplier replied to one of my early emails, sent after they had received it, saying send it back for a replacement within 48 hours!! Out of patience by now, I escalated the dispute with PayPal to claim a refund, which after I had sent the tracking number to them, came within a couple of days - Thanks PayPal.
However, on the up side, I found that vaping was at least a partial replacement for smoking - I was down to 3 or 4 rollups per day immediately. So now in receipt of my refund I have ordered a Tornado kit from Totally Wicked, which I understand is a re-branded eGo (took me a while to figure that out!) and hoping for more satisfactory performance and better customer service should I need it.
I'll update on how I get on with the Tornado when I get it.
Any ideas on how to adapt the 20 carts I still have from the last kit? They are cylindrical with a string type wick bent into an upturned U shape - they don't look like they'll fit the Tornado attys (510's?)
Cheers
Darth
