Hey guys, just placed an order fom my local dealer in Houston. While browsing I saw he had these kits for $65 bucks. I thought this was pretty darn cheap... If you've thought about getting a kit I haven't seen them cheaper, if you have awesome, let us know, if not hope this helps someone....

$65 isn't a bad price but you can get a "V1 LT" kit for $60 on some sites and the newer versions are only about $60-70 for a kit if you shop around. Once the newer versions are at all the vendors in the near future I would expect a "V1 LT" kit to sell at a good discount maybe even $50 or below.

congratz on getting an LT and "good lookin out" on hitting a local vendor. Sometimes a couple bucks is worth keeping the money in your own area.

"V2" is sort of a bogus designation. The L-Rider Version 2.0 LTs being sold now are upgrades only in external finishes and end caps. The internals are still the same as the original V1, with the woefully inadequate 2.5 amp limit.

Uniq and Young June manufacture what they call Version 1.5, which has the old-style body and caps with upgraded internals---3.2 amp limit and very spiffy resistance checking. Those are available now from crystalclearvaping in barebones, at a very reasonable price, and smokeforpennys as a full kit.

L-Rider manufactures what they call Version 3.0, which has upgraded all-metal end caps (but not with the ego-style connector and spring-loaded center pin---that one still has Version 1's crappy internal electronics). Version 3.0 has a 4.0 amp limit with the same ergonomic implementation of resistance checking and is available now from vaporbeast in a very inexpensive full kit.
