But 3.6 ml of nicotine to 100 ml solvent gives you a 3.47% solution. And why would they print mass when they mean volume? Toxicity is ultimately determined by the number of nicotine molecules, which is given by the mass alone. Volume is a function of both mass and density, which in turn is a function of temperature and pressure (and once dissolved, the chemical properties of the solution).

I'm more than crazy enough to work with pure nicotine, though I don't see it happening anytime soon. But I'd still love to know what the actual nic content is in ready-made e-liquid. I'd be quite surprised if by "mg" they really mean "ml per 1000 ml solvent". Really?

My father died from smoking among other things. I've no doubt judging my my former morning hacking, that I was well on my way to that path as well if I hadn't discovered vaping and continued smoking analogues. I will not allow the government to push me back into something that I know full well will end up killing me in time.

I have worked with highly toxic chemicals in the past and common since and VERY CLOSE calculations on delutions is 90% of safety. The other 10% is proper protective gear. Mostly easily found for this use. I would prefer to work with 10-25% nicotine than 99% pure, but if that was all that was avialble to me, then that's what I'd do.

I know that with proper precautions I can work with this stuff and my odds of dying from it is very low. My odds of dying from analogues is ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED! I don't believe that doing this is any more dangerous, with proper precautions than working with electricity. Both have potential hazards, but both can be very safe if done correctly.

As I said, I'd prefer to work with a lower concentration solution, but either way, with a little common since, I stand a better chance of living to be the old fart I know I can be this way than if I let the government take away my right to vape,

BTW, someone mentioned something about human right, etc. I've got news for you, in the US at least. Your rights. humanity, and even the constitution have nothing to do with anything if your unpopular with the majority. Especially when big business and taxes are involved. Let's face it. Smoking is more unpopular today than drug use was in the 70's- 80's and 90's, and the tax rate on tobacco in the us is well over 500%.

If your sucking on the straw of your Coke at a Buger King in a way that someone thinks "looks" like smoking, it's likely to eventually get the government's and special interest groups attention. All it has to do is "look" like smoking. Hence, why we've got what we've got now with the FDA. Any idiot can see that vaping is MUCH healthier than analogues, but the predijous rules over common since.

**********Soap box mode off.********

Guess I got on a rant. Sorry 'bout that. What can I say? Love my country, fear my government. :(

I just found this on a forum here in Poland:
That's about 10usd for 200ml of pure pg mixed with pure nicotine, and 100ml of pure glycerine from a pharmaceutical company here. No wondering what's in the bottle, and no worries about the price. I just contacted the guy who posted this, he lives in the same town as me. if it works out, I might be able to share the love. I'll update as soon as I find out more.

Hi Ill Dawg,

I thank you so much for sharing.....all the other posts got sooooo off topic and into "NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION" and having to wear protective gear, in some soup kitchen on another planet in the event of toxic overload........lololol

I am of Polish/German descent. I can barely read Polish but I definitely can speak it.
I have no problem contacting their number and asking them if indeed I can use their nicotine in my e-cig. I just showed my cousins, who just came over for a visit, my new e-cig and they were impressed with it. Most people in Poland are into very healthy foods, herbs, meds etc.
I am sure, definitely sure that they will tell the truth.

They are a very cautious people when it comes to human consumption of products. Also, they are not big on whistle blowing.....having gone thru so much in the past with communism, Hitler, Nazis et al.

If indeed their nicotine can be used for human consumption, I will ask them if they can pre-mix the order to accommodate an e-cig.

Having said that, how is your Polish? Why did you not ask them this in the 1st place rather than take a chance and vape something that could be like the other posters have said, "NOT for human consumption".?

Give me a few days and I will post what I have been able to find out. ok?

.................

At the bottom, the second pic has a bottle of pure nic. I googled the company on the bottle and it turned up this site: ............. where pure nic is available for purchase. They have stock in the US and the UK. 5ml of 99% pure nic runs about $60. glycerine and PG cost a couple dollars. that 5ml of pure nic could make 250ml of 20mg juice or 500ml of 10mg. It's a little more expensive than the polish site, but I think I'd trust their nic a bit more, and you don't have to use lazy English teachers as a middleman. If someone tries this, let me know how it goes.

Hope this helps

Hi Fellow Forum Members!

I called the .......... company as mentioned in the above link, at
........... and was told that "THEY DO NOT HAVE FOOD GRADE LIQUID NICOTINE FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION".

I have PM'ed ill dawg asking him for the phone number of the company in Poland that he got his nicotine from. I speak Polish, but I don't read or write it. I also fired off an email to the other link he posted for Andrze. I will post my findings when I have them.
