That's all i wanted to hear, just some drop #s. Im still using my sig #8 and #13 from old coop and need a better hitting mod. I been away for a bit and need to catch up on new mods. Also since i got store credit at ft im trying to figure out which out of their "battery compartment mods" hits da hardest or has the best conductivity. I get ill pick one of these up and one of their other brass mods.

Like tardcore said, it is subjective. But to give you an idea, after I noaloxed my threads and contacts I was getting a 0.35 volt drop on a 0.9 ohm coil. These are REALLY nice mods for the price. You will not regret it.

I ordered the $27 (laser engraved) cuz the other one was sold out.
Also is this batch supposed to come with Silver or brass contacts?

Me too. Though I messed up and cancelled my original order which was due to ship today, now I have to wait till the 16th apparently because I put a new order in.

i placed my order last thursday for the chi and two other things. everything said ships in 3 days but still havent gotten my shipping notice. i cant wait to get it!

Anyone know if this will fit Stainlesss Steel Stealth Flat Top Cap

someone posted earlier that they put that cap on the chi clone to make the overall length shorter than some other really short mod tha ti cant remember right now. i want to say the vela but i dont think thats right. paps maybe.
if you get that cap and it fits on the $27 FT chi-you, please let us know.

Just get the laser engraved the difference is dark logo on the $32 version with silver plated bottom firing pin and you get a 8888 serial number on all of those. It doesn't look as nice as the laser engrave. They will probably not stock the $32 version. If you want to save money get the mix and match two tone version which has a floating center pin. its $19 but the top cap is different which makes it not a 1:1 copy of the clone. BUY THE $27 one you wont regret. Or test your luck with the brass silver models. Up to you. They should probably all hit the same. I'm disappointed in the voltage drop personally, but vaping it doesn't make a whole lot of difference between the Private 2.which has very low voltage drop. Or buy a nemmy and not worry the differences between the chi's.

Whats funny is that the chi and the chi clone hit the same [for me] which is disappointing. After seeing the clone and how people talk of it being a 1:1 replica, I took the real chi off my wishlist and gave the clone to a friend.

i got the $27 laser one. i was going to get some silver pins from AKA but it says that the coating will eventually wear off. and seeing how i dont plan on continually buying new silver pins, i figure i'll be fine with the stock ones. i can always kick it if the voltage drop is unbearable, which i doubt it will be.

FT is busting my bawls hard, guys! the chi product page said ships in 3 days. i ordered a week ago today and its still not shipped. today i got an email listing any number of excuses that could apply. oh well, at least theyre taking the time to look over the orders and do a little QC (i hope).

Yup! Right with the electrical connections. I checked near their mech mods at first. Totally wasn't there

On another note, I just scored myself a MNKE so I can get subby on my chi. If it ever comes!
MadVapes has em for 7.19 with vortex code. I snatched one because the only other vendor I know with them is 11.99. Impulse move but hey.

I just received mine from Fast Tech (Laser Engraved model). Damn that took a long time.

I have a problem with mine. The 510 connector threads are cut too wide.
Most of my attys screw on but few literally just fall through the threads (including some cartomizers).
The ones that do screw on are extremely loose to start - but tighten once they reach the bottom threads.
I had a couple pop off.
I have an Igo-W (real one) and a clone IGO-L - both fall right through the threads.
If the threads loosen up anymore - nothing will thread onto it.
So that is a big concern of mine.
I just found there's a thread on FastTech about the bad 510 connector (have to read more).

My Korean script and serial #'s are more grey (like the real Chi-You) - I think all the ones I've seen so far are pretty dark.
The etching on the button is also very light in color.

Beyond that everything seems the same as what others have posted.

Out of the box and disassembled

Script and serial #s are light grey color

Front logo seems same

Button etching - light grey

One Hole Nimbus clone barely threads on

Same with the Immortalizer clone

A few others fit, but just barely.

Anyone with the AKA Vapers have the same problem with their 510 threads?

It's just the lighting on the logos. That is why they look lighter than all the rest. Yours looks the same as mine and mine is straight from Hcigar, I didn't get it from FT. If I hold a flashlight at a distance from the Chi clone it looks lighter. Try holding it upright and stand under a light and then hold you hand over the back logo until it is in the shadow and it will look darker.

That sucks about the 510. I would send it back to FT even though that means even more waiting but at least they will make it right. I always unscrew the positive pin and flush mount my atties, then tighten the pos post back up. I am using the RSST on the SS Chi clone right now so I actually have the pin backed out quite a bit and then screwed the pos post on the RSST down rather far. Works great.

i ordered the laser etched one 8 days ago. shipping keeps getting delayed but i will let you know about the threads once i get it. sorry to hear about yours. thats a real bummer. on the bright side, those VR caps do look nice n stealthy. im considering one.
i ordered the chi knowing the possible issue with the threads, just rolling the dice i guess. if the threads suck, im sending it back. i might even exchange it for the nemesis or the private v2 to avoid getting bad threads for a second time. but i like the chi the best of them all. design-wise, that is. as far as i can tell, all 3 have been reported as heavy hitters.

I don't have my Chemesis yet - it's still waiting in HongKong - I ordered liquid and batteries with it - so, they are probably tearing through them right now. I have high hopes for it (for $27 lol).

I'm very happy with my SS/Brass/Copper PV2 - that thing hits great, feels great, works with everything.
But I really do like the smooth clean lines of the Chi-You - if it wasn't for the f'ed 510 threads it would be my favorite.
They are both heavy hitters. And for the price - compared to the real thing these are awesome

Even if I have to order 3 of those VapeRev stealth caps, along with 3 Chi-you clones from FT = total ~ $145.00 ; still $100 cheaper than one real Chi-You. I could order 2 more PV2 clones and 2 more Nemesis clones with that extra money
(RipTrippers said more of his attys fit on the clone than the real chi-you).

All in all, I'm still damn happy

So, I'm chatting with people on FT forums in the BAD 510 connector thread.
They've confirmed my Script/Serial# and Button engraving is much lighter and a different font.
They are in the 7,000 sn range.

Any one else care to share?

damn mine just shipped. I hope i get a good one... As far as I can tell FT isnt that helpful dealing with defective items. I guess its to be expected from counterfeit items from China.
