How often do you guys change the carto in this thing? Are they easy to replace?

I change when the draw gets too tight, and as for how long that takes varies all over the place. It can be a few days to 2-3 weeks, depending a lot on your juice.
As for changing the carto, I take one of the grommets off, drain left over juice, if any, back into the bottle, then remove the other grommet and carto, rinse everything in warm water, and dry. Then re assemble. Pretty easy, and doesn't take long at all.

Putting the Chibi together:

Put the bottom of your carto in one of the grommets and then put that up in the tube, then put the top grommet on the carto. Done.

Also, I use my syringe to drain out the juice if it needs a carto change before the juice is all vaped. :)

I'm not sure I want to try the cartos with the two holes punched in them that came with my Chibis. With my first Chibi I also ordered an extra carto. When I got my first Chibi, I put in a Boge LR that I punched one hole in and it has been working good with that. So now, I have three double punched cartos that I'm worried will wick too well, and flood with the two holes. I guess the double punched are ok, as I haven't read of any problems with them, but I'm leary about using them. So what do you say, no problem, go ahead and use em?

I just got a couple of these to try. I've been Vaping an eGo T type B for over three months now. I've tried 3 or 4 different cartos and none of them could match the type B tank in vapor, flavor, or TH. I was hoping this would be the one, it is not. It has a LR atty in it but it doesn't make near the vapor of the eGo T.

I was hoping with the cartos that I was maybe doing something wrong. But what could I be doing wrong with this system? I filled the tank and carto and let it sit for half an hour to let everything soak in. Poor vapor production at best.

I'm hoping to find a replacement to the eGo T because it is so finicky, I don't think I will though.

I could be wrong here, wouldn't be the first time :) but I don't see what the tank has to do with vapor production. If you filled the tank and the carto it should work just fine. The tank just delivers the juice to the carto. Seems this is more of a carto malfunction. I start a new carto in the tank dry, and just pull on the carto until it pulls in enough juice to work.

What ohm cartomizer is in your tank? Is it the Boge or the Smoktech?

After a year of vaping with attys and cartos I was still a tank newbie! I have a couple bottom feeders and the thought of trying to punch my own holes kinda intimidated me. So for a long time I have been a bottom feeder LOL. I just got two chibi tanks today and they came with prepunched cartos already loaded! They were super easy to fill and they vape great! I am soo thrilled! Usually when I'm excited about something, it rarely lives up to my expectations.. but this little thing by far surpassed them! I've only been using it a couple hours but I think I will love it later as much as I do right now (I hope so!) These, a tank and a prepunched carto for $8 is a great price!! Price was another thing that discouraged me.. MAP tanks cost $25 and that was a bit too much for me to spend just to try something out and they didn't come with a prepunched carto already in them.

Now I'll have to go to Lowes and see if I can find a saddle thing to punch my own cartos cause I have so many already.

Thanks for all the recommendations!

They rock, right! :D You can punch your own very easily, cause if *I* can do it, anyone can  This is a really silly video cause my camera falls, but it works great! Easy cartomizer punch with household items - YouTube and the results: Cartomizer punch results. - YouTube

Thanks for the video! I've got a screw, hammer and whatever wrench that is (can't think of the name right now) it looks easy. Does the hole have to be that high up? It seems a little high compared to the carto that came in my tank. Also, do you have to use stainless steel cartos? I have a bunch of black resurrectors from ccv, the only stainless ones I have are dual coil cartos and I've heard that they flood too easily in a tank.

Also, this frees me from having to use my bottom feeders all the time. The 1.7 cartos work great on a simple, inexpensive box mod. So now I'll be able to get a lot more use out of my nonfeeding mods! Plus I can still use them on the bottom feeder and get double the juice capacity.. feeding from top AND bottom LOL

Another question... what happens if I fill the carto before I insert it into the tank and fill the tank? When using a new carto, is it best to let the tank wick it instead of filling before I insert it into the tank?

Thanks for all the help! I'm so thrilled to finally be using a tank!

See answers below :)

I was punching a Ressurector to use on a mod that needed an extender to clear the top switch, so I used the longer carto as the extension vs using a real one...that way I could just put the short tank higher up on the carto and all was well...that would be why the one was punched so high up. Ideally you want the hole just above your bottom grommet. I think using cartos with paper might be bad. There's glue under that paper and if the nic eats through the paper, you're pretty much infusing your juice with glue...ew. Yes, duals flood like crazy for me, even with one tiny hole punched in them. I've given up on them.

I have done both, filled before I put in the tank and after. It seems to make no difference. But I always fill the carto. I get more juice capacity that way. One full ml in the carto and then whatever the tank will hold. Lasts longer between fills. Win.

Thanks for all the help! I'm so thrilled to finally be using a tank!

Me too! And for less than $10!!

Help...just receive my chibi tanks yesterday. Last night I filled one and made a little mess on filling but didn't have any leaking problems..even filled with more juice this morning and all seems find. Tank 2 - filled this morning when to vape, got a mouth full of juice and realized it was leaking all over the place. I'm sure it was quite a site if you could see me getting of off my battery, taking of the top gromet and trying to syringe out any juice I could save. Then I just went to the sink and rinsed everything off, blew out the carto and set it out to dry. I wonder if I just over filled the thing and caused it to leak like that - any input from the experienced? Also..just want to check, I use the KGO batteries and don't think I should have any problem with the chibi tanks???
