Iowa Gal, how did you fill the tanks. I use a needle pushed down the side of the tank, between the wall of the tank and the grommet. The only time I had a carto flood, was when I filled too quickly, not allowing the displaced air time to escape. Any pressure inside the tank can cause flooding. I use a sharp needle and slightly dull the needle. Me + sharp needle = pain, and blood.

Ok, just fill veeerrryy slowly, the air has to escape around the very small space around the needle. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

I did use a syringe...but maybe it was just being in too much of a hurry. Thought tonight I would get a fresh carto, put it back together and try again.

Mine was fine last night and today the carto keeps flooding and juice is leaking out the bottom. I'll keep fiddling with it to see if its something I'm doing. earlier today I siphoned the juice out, took it apart, rinsed it all out, vaped the carto till it was kinda dryish, put it all back together and refilled.. still flooding and leaking all over the box :(

I just pushed the carto in a bit more, maybe it wasn't in far enough.. got to take son to karate.. I'll check it after I get back and see what's what.

an update: After pushing the carto a bit further down, I took it with me to son's karate (where I sat outside in the car and watched and vaped) it's now dry and not flooded. It's vaping great again. I knew it had to be something I was doing/had done. I didn't have a good enough seal at the battery end, the carto was flush with the grommet and that caused the leak and (I guess) flooding. All's well and I'm back to being thrilled LOL

Filling this tank and not having my carto keep flooding is tricky! I'm learning that when I fill, I've got to not only fill slowly, but make sure enough air is getting out of the tank as I fill it. I just refilled and the carto is flooding. I then took an empty syringe and slid it back into the tank and I swear I could hear air coming out.

After doing this, I've been vaping it the last few minutes now and it's not flooding. It's vaping perfect again. I'm thinking that if I fill it and not let the air that is being displaced by the juice come out.. it's creating pressure that is forcing the juice into the filling and thus flooding the carto.

So if you have a carto in a tank full of juice and it's flooding, try slipping a needle between the tank and grommet and let some of the air out. Try an empty syring and needle with the plunger out, that way any trapped air can travel up the needle and out of the plungerless syringe. It seems there is a learning curve to this too.

Dang it! I hate when I think I have everything figured out and then something happens. Since yesterday morning this tank has vaped great! no leaking, no flooding. Tonight I refilled it. I filled slowly and made sure air was getting out. Flooded. I then slid a needle down to let any trapped air out, took it off the box and blew it out.. after 2 vapes, flooded agian. I took the thing apart. washed it out, put it back together and again, filled it slowly. I only put about 2ml in it. I tried to make sure the air was getting out. I put it down and I just came back to check it. All the juice has wicked out onto the table! It's not leaking out the grommets, it's coming through the punched hole and out the end of the carto!

Now I'm afraid to try to refill it again cause this was some of my expensive store bought juice! I don't understand and I hate that.

I just tried again.. no luck.. one vape and the whole thing gurgles and juice just drips out the bottom. Maybe it's the carto, but it's been in there only 4 days and it was working well till I refilled. Any suggestions would be helpful. I'm not ready to give up quite yet!

How many holes are you putting in your cartos? If two, go to one hole. If you are doing one hole, try punching a hole about half the size. Another thing you can try that I've heard of, is to cut off an end of a condom wide enough so that it will cover the hole, then with an extaco blade or something sharp, cut an X over the hole. This should let juice in when you draw on it and stop flooding when just sitting. Just some things to try. You really shouldn't have to do any of this, but hopefully something here helps.

The leaking is most likely from an air leak. If the top or bottom grommet aernt sealed the juice will leak and leak. When the seals are good you may get a small leak at first that will go away once the tank pressure equalizes. If your sure both sides have a good seal and there are no rough spots on the grommet its possible the inner tube of the carto was punctured while beeing punched. Stand it up on end. If it leaks sitting there its the tube. If it dosent leak till you puff on it then its the seal.

If its the same carto and the only thing you did different was fill it then its possible you nicked the side of the grommet with your needle and its not sealing well now. Try wiggling your carto at the top and see if it reseals.

One more thing, in order to keep the carto from flooding, allow any air in the tank displaced by the juice, to escape.

How do you do that???

I'm haviing Liquinator issues with flooding and leaking, so I went ahead and put in an order for a Chibi. I've been so frustrated with the gurgling having to fiddle with the darn thing. I've read good reviews about this tank- so keeping fingers crossed, I hope it's as good as folks say.
